I literally live here lmao, all the streets I go to recognized everything, but the mall isn’t a traditional mall, long story short it’s been home to many Mexican businesses and the short of it was that it was sold and the new owner wanted there to be something more commercial like a target or Walmart causing hundreds of people to lose their jobs so there was major backlash, but as you can see it’s still going strong

Nah I forgot what prison and documentary this place was in but there was documentary with some famous rappers and they were talking abt a place down south. It was brought up as a slave farm, to a prison, and the conditions will turn your stomach. And I’m talking about you’d walk though it and think it’s abandoned. Ceilings falling, sewer floods, fires , and someone passed due to health issues that nobody came to help him with. His body sat in their morgue for days and never allowed his mother to say goodbye. When she finally saw him he was so decomposed she was mortified, as I’m sure this happens in many prisons , but not letting bodies rot , not no plumbing or lights for 30 days. Maybe even months, I’ll try and find it but I watched it in jail and never felt happier being in a better situation as jail is not cool nor fun , imagine your situation you cannot control
