@@RedDevil_Joe He was never one of the best ever premiership strikers though. He was a terrific poacher but he'd be behind Henry, Ronaldo, Aguero, Kane, Torres, Suarez, Rooney, Shearer and Salah when analysing the best strikers/forwards of the Premier League era.

He says ManUtd won 4-1 against WestHam in the 1999/00 PL season at OldTrafford when they actually won 7-1.
@@dujayy1 You've misunderstood what I said I really can't believe I have to explain but....In 1999/00 ManUtd beat WestHam 7-1, in 2000/01 they won 3-1 just before this 0-1 FAcup game but the commentator said they won 4-1 when referring to the 7-1 game.

Barthez overall, as a keeper for United was so unreliable. He could make some wonderful saves but his decision making was shocking.

@@tobybiggins5367 His worst season was his middle season 2001/02 with his howlers vs Deportivo & Arsenal etc... He was generally good enough this season & his last season. This was the worst moment of his first season 2000/01 he had some mad moments sometimes led to goals sometimes they didn't.
I remember Bosnich's kicking for goal kicks and stuff was very iffy in 1999/00 and then when Barthez arrived the next season you saw the big positive difference with his kicks and we had high hopes for him especially given that he won WorldCup & Euro's which he didn't live up to although he was good at saving pens and general shot stopping he would make howlers particularly 01/02.
So many goalkeepers we went through after Schmeichel left before our next consistently reliable keeper VanDerSar.
Great freekick from Payet but keeper positioning again awful. Stand in the very centre of your goal.....you save that. You don't have to take 2 skips to your right and still miss the ball. Simple.
