@@mattcunningham9235 Matt I think the flaws should be pointed out because they make him one of us --not some superhero in a comic book-they make him human. My heart goes out to Leopold who was only 13 when he worked in the Schindler factory. In the interview on this video, with his chin quivering with emotion, he asked "I have often wondered if we did enough for Oscar Schindler?!" I would say without hesitation, the very fact that they survived is reward enough to the man. That was his supreme reward. But the Schindler Juden went further and they lavished money and trips on him and parties on him. Without doubt they did more than enough. I am so glad for these precious people that Schindler was a man of compassion.

Not to mention the shooting of Palestinians like fish in a barrel. I am happy that these Jewish people were saved but the hypocrisy is dumbfounding. Anyway, Israel is not the same as being Jewish as there are Jewish people all over the world and a lot of them don't like what Israel is doing to the Palestinians. That Nazi that was shooting Jewish people at random, there are 10 fold of them in Israel doing the same thing to Palestinians. If Israel really cared about antisemitism, they'd stop killing the Semite Palestinians and give them their freedom to exist.

He is an example that good and courageous men and women are not always found in black and white ideals of what is a morally good person. They may be upstanding citizens and by everything seem the epitome of good but when the world turns upside down they may not have the strength and conscience to abide by what must be done. Whereas a very flawed individual like Schindler who doesn't meet that moral figure of a vision may be the one with the strength and conviction at great personal risk to be the hero for others

It means that by saving one life, you make possible several generations to spring from that one life. Oskar Schindler saved over 1200 lives. The amount of generations he sprang from them is staggering.

the man was a real hero...but the thing i HATE about heroes is because of the good they do, "thou shall not commit adultery" goes right out the window :P men..."Oskar darling...i am with this whole hardly as your wife..but if you cheat on me ONE more time.. and ima cut your reichsmarks off!"
