I've heard all Eric Harland albums and featuring recording with artists on Spotify. More than 300 song. And all I can say is that he's a versatile genius drummer.
I love his drumming with Joey Alexander on the Christmas album, the album with Matt penman and Aaron Goldberg is great too.
The two album with Lionel Loueke as well.

Hi dear Friend, totally agree, it's a really awesome Kit, Budget kit sounds as good as high end kit . Stage Custom in m'y humble opinion sounds as good as the Recording Custom.
In Fact The Yamaha Stage Custom Birch kit have Always getting good reviews on the net.
I never Saw a Bad review on this $600 kit .
Drumcenter of Portsmouth had review all Yamaha kit from Stage custom to Phoenix . And in the comments section of the vidéo comparison, people were talking only About how good the Yamaha Stage Custom Birch sounds.
Sorry for m'y terrible horrible english, i'm from Réunion Island (Little french Island bellow Madagascar).
