Hi...
There is two problems which you can have.. one is your voltage regulator, which step down voltage from High to low 5Volts, or problematic IC microcontroller shorting the 5-volt circuit.. if your controller currently is connected to your ebike system try to disconnect all perypherals and measure the voltage output from 5 volts hall sensors..

For any UK viewers, I have a simple 1000w motor twist and go mountain bike/ pedal assist bike that will go above 15 mph.
If I get caught riding it on a public road, I'll get fined, and points on my car license and the bike will be confiscated for disposal.
This is absolutely disgusting as a company called VOI is legally allowed to rent electric bikes and scooters 😭
