I was going to comment on one of your other vids that you should do the same thing with vid/pic editing that you did with the moto-mechanics class. It would be killer!!
Just finished 2000 miles through the twisty mountains of WV/KY and a little TN. I have TENS of hours of video that I want to edit. I have all winter to learn it but some tangible obstruction would be priceless.
Just a thought.

Great topic especially for me since I still have rides from 2020 that I can't get myself get off my ass, hmm, get on my ass and edit. Would much rather ride. Maybe I'll be checking in on having you edit some? But then it's not me? I'll have to think that over while sitting where I do my best thinking. NO, not there, on my motorcycle seat.
I was in Apache Junction getting ready to see if we could meet off camera some time but my Mom passed away. Now I'm in Victorville CA at my brother's servicing forks and 3,000 mile service then Me And My Royal Enfield are heading down near Brownsville TX to hopefully see the 3rd SpaceX Starship launch and hang out around Boca Chica for the winter.

Excellent tips. I use an Insta 360 One X2 and a GoPro Hero 8. It’s a versatile combination for moto video. Only drawback is with the GoPro overheating if trying to shoot 4K for too long. Learned that the hard way a while back and missed out on some good scenery. 😅 Now my default is 1080 for the GoPro. I often use an iPhone to capture some quick B-roll and still photos too. Not a pro setup, but it does a great job for sharing with family and friends.
That’s very similar to my setup, I’m using the GoPro 10 though. Haven’t had the overheating issue yet but I’ll keep an eye on that because I’m starting to shoot in 4k. Thanks!
@@FTAAdventures I wasn’t sure why my GoPro 8 kept shutting down until I set it on a table at home and hit record with it set at 4K 60 fps. Within about 8-10 minutes it displayed a high temp message and shut down. It was quite hot to the touch. Similar result with 4K 30 fps. So I use those settings sparingly. 1080 60 fps has no problems. Disappointing but not unusual for the GoPro 8, apparently.
Tim, what camera settings were you using at 0:52 when you were talking about the GoPro Hero 10? That's exactly the ratio and quality I'm trying to capture and I can never seem to get it right. Also, are you filming with any color presets or are you filming flat and adding in the color correction afterward with the software? Your videos are absolutely beautiful and some of the most "true to life" I've ever seen on YT.
