Okay, thanks homeboy. I'm based in Botswana myself. If you get your permanent residency there with a critical skill, will you still need a work permit. And then secondly, does the spouse of a permanent resident need a work permit to work there in SA?

You mean Cape Town is a beautiful country? Lol... Btw, this permit business is interesting. I have a friend of mine that's currently in Zim. She studied anthropology, I think or something along those lines. She did degree in Arts/Humanities. She studied at a university here in SA. She basically wants to come back to SA but struggling. What advice can you give her?
Yeah that's a very tough one. Most Arts/Humanities degrees aren't listed under the "Critical Skills" that SA is looking for but she needs to first confirm that this is actually the case. She needs to have a look at the list of Critical Skills to see if there is anything she qualifies for. Sometimes not all job titles are listed there (my job title is not there for example) so she should also look for people in her field who have similar qualifications as her to find out which skills those guys used to get their visa. But ultimately, if her qualifications are not under the Critical Skills then she will need to look at other avenues because getting a general work permit when you're not under the critical skills list is near impossible cos the hiring company will have to prove that they could not find any South African with similar qualifications. A lot of people who end up in this scenario sometimes sign up for a Masters Degree in SA which is considered a critical skill and then use that Masters Degree for applying for the critical skills visa...obviously you'd need to make sure that Masters Degree qualifies to be a critical skill...If she enjoys academics she might consider doing PhD. If you hold a PhD from a South African University you qualify for Permanent Residency.

Yes you will need a South African professional body to give you a Critical Skills Clearance (them basically confirming that you have a critical skill, the right qualifications, and enough work experience)...
If you got your degree from a SA University then you can straight away apply for PR... it even has less requirements than the critical skills visa. The only problem is you can only apply for PR if you still hold a Study Visa (or another type of temporary permit).. I ended up applying for a critical skills visa first because my study visa had expired and I couldn't apply for PR while using a visitor's or tourist's visa. After I got my critical skills visa I applied for PR within a month after I came back to SA and it came out after 3-4 months.
How long does it take to get SA ID...
Mine took about 3 months.
U sound like a local dude, where u from?
I'm from Zimbabwe..... I've been here for about 7 years now so maybe my accent is adjusting
My father got it do i qualify it
Amazing content🔥 could do without the delay in getting to the point tho

Hy just wanna know if it happens u grow up here in SA but u dont hve the documents of ur parents Oringin nd u can't go to ur birth country no ur parents.
What are the requirements having all the proof that u grow up here.
To add reason u can't go bck to ur birth country coz u wre born as foreign thr too nd u dont have any document to use.
Whats the solution in this i need help?!!!
Hi Terence. That’s quite a complex situation you have there. I’m not sure what sort documents they require as proof the best person to speak to is an immigration agency. There’s quite a few out there if you use Google. They usually have free consultation so it’s worth a shot.
This is unfortunate situation u find urself in,SA give kids country of birth but citizenship or permanent residency is traced through ur parents.that is y all after birth they give all 4reign mother's a paper to b processed by their embassy. So that u get all required documents or papers needed to stay in SA.UR embassy will give u better answers in situation like this
Tino your video quality is insane which cam do you use?
What’s with the music?
I heard you can get residemcy for 6,800 USD
Hey there! When you say "You don't have much of a choice" regarding the 2 - 4 year wait, that isn't true. An Immigration Lawyer like myself can assist by getting a court order to compel the DHA to give the outcome after 8 months of submitting. Boom. Share the news. ;)
Haha that's very interesting. My statement was based on the experience of most of my peers, colleagues and other foreigners I have interacted with. I people need to be more aware of the fact that they can expedite the process with the help of immigration lawyers. I will definitely spread the word. Thank you.
Hey there since you're an immigration lawyer I want to ask something for a friend...how can he get a study permit if he have attended his whole highschool here in south Africa using only your passport? He is finishing grade 12 this year
Michele P Michele, why don’t you give me a call tomorrow and we can chat about it. 0825694244

@@tomcarmar3739 well it all depends on your skin colour now... you need to be black
Hello elder
@@trying2adult The masters degree sounds like a good idea. I'll let her know. Thanks for the recomms. 🙏
Dope
SA better anticipate overcrowding soon. All these UA-cam channels encouraging SA migration. Let's stay home and develop our countries ultimately developing Africa. We can't just have 4 developed countries out of the whole continent

Can İ get A permanent retirement residence with 3000 usd income per months...for my family...with 1 child.....
I'm not the best person to confirm this but I think US$3,000 per month would be enough for proof of financial means... of course you have to make sure you meet all the other requirements of the specific visa/permit you applying for.
@@trying2adult is it possible to show that you're receiving a significantly large amount of money on a monthly basis from property rental income to get the rich man permit? I am British and my wife is Tunisian. It is objectively impossible to prove that your income is "guaranteed for the rest of your life" as even nation states that give their citizens pensions can become bankrupted, failed states. I have a letter from the government of Hong Kong promising me 32,000 Hong Kong dollars per month which is about 3500 dollars US. Can I get the permit and then swap it for permanent residency?
Thank you for another great video Mature adult lol
I dunno about mature adult just yet but I'm on my way there! Thank you! 😊
There is another way. If you are a refugee but not asylum seeker ,you are qualified to apply for the P.R after continuously 5 years of staying in SA
😊
"Rich man visa." Hahahaha
😂 they call it the “financially independent” visa but we all know who it’s for

A girl wants to marriag me she from sauth Africa
Go home and leave us alone
Your people are causing so much havoc here. Just stay in your country.
It is time to migrate to south africa. People are starving. Jobs do not recruit any more. twice as many homeless people in a short time. yet companies are closing down. More housiing is empty because people cannot pay the bills. It's now or never. The government can move everybody with a grant of 5000 euros per person. We've lost trillions already so this will be a quick recompense.
