He was one of the absolute elite BAD drivers along with Brian driving Liberty that always entertained the crowd. I feel absolutely humbled to have seen Crossy as well as Brian race neck & neck and keep us in the crowd on our toes race meet after race meet 🙏🙌❤️

This guy literally lived one blade in the water and that was about all balls to the wall and that is all. He shall be remembered for his utter fearlessness in a race boat and seemingly great demeanor. I never met him, but wish I had. RIP FEARLESS John "Crossy" Cross.

Great video tribute, thanks for taking the time to put it togeather, John was a legend even when we were kids, he used to race motor cross just as hard as he raced a boat, always on the limit, and always out to win, I will never forget you mate, I am glad that I met you all those years ago back in 1968 and stayed in touch all of these years.
Race in Peace John, you and your family will always be in my thoughts.
