UPDATE! * I’ve just watched the Greg Wilson chat and it’s superb! There is a routine Greg has put together which makes perfect sense (the spare key being your house key which is normally placed in an outdoor safe space). There’s a lovely idea that Greg mentions from Max Maven (that was published in his effect Freakey). Along with loads of other tidbits that , at 1am have got me going to my office to play with the keys again! ------------------ Side note! There is also an additional chat in the instructions with Greg Wilson. At time of recording this bit of the instruction was not available. I shall add my additional thoughts below upon reviewing them 🙂
2 hour tutorial! Holy wow for a simple overall effect. Sure hope it's entertaining in continual instruction ideas and not boring with jibber jabber that wouldn't be needed like many tutorials.
One is an ungimmicked copy. The other one stays in the keyring and it can be seen all around. I’ve done a lot of vanishes and reappearances and specs hands and because they get to hold one and grip onto the other in their hands I’ve never been asked to take the other key off the key ring. Sure it would allow for a few more presentational ideas but then it would be more stuff to carry around which would negate its incentive as an EDC for me.
I just say it’s a locker key. Most gym or lock box locker keys don’t look like house keys. As such no one’s called me out on it and it’s never been a problem

True but you probably can find them for cheap at a hardware store.
Problem is it doesn’t look like a key for any lock in this universe. Why not make it look like a standard Chubb, or at least make it have sharp teeth.
