Ich mag mei emx auch und ich werds a nie hergeben...werd jetzt mal a Wartung leider mal durchführen müssen, die pads spinnen langsam..ein poti habe ich auch schon austauschen müssen. Aber is so wie mit ein oldtimer. Da muss ma liebe reinstecken! Coole jam..Wahnsinn wieviel Material du hast std is super

Just using the standard emx or you update the sounds? Great job. Fat bass. Just dusted mine off jamming hard with it. Mixed it with a Arduino boy and my Gameboy. It's sick.

This sounds great! I have two of the older electribes (first gen) and they're super fun to play on. Yours is one I'll have to aspire to save up for, as they've gotten really expensive on the used market.
Okay - I usually don't make posts but dude - you are a one-man show for sure. Definitely talented. You are Technotronic meets Kraftwerk meets Gary Numan. This is like Planet Funk on steroids. I didn't think I would listen to more than 15 minutes of your set, but I ended up staying for the whole thing and even adding it to my favorites. I loved how you blended each phrase into the other and just kept the beat going. Nice work. I don't know where you are in the world, I'm guessing maybe the EU? You should be opening for Daft Punk ;) Brilliant stuff. From another person in the world who spent his entire life in music - consider me a new fan.
wow thx a lot man, really appreciate it!! yes i live in vienna, austria (europe)... made this set 2 years ago but sadly my emx hasn't been working properly for a while now... i should really get it fixed again and make some new patterns on it... still in love with this machine...
@@jameslast3192 it's already been fixed multiple times, i kinda got tired of it at some point... been looking into the newer electribe generation tho, maybe i'll get the sampler...
@@jameslast3192 i just got tired of all the technical problems... it broke down on me multiple times in the club during live performances, got it fixed, same problem occured again, and so on... i mean yea, it definitely has a lot of limitations and i never used it for producing serious tracks (i do that in ableton) but imo the electribes have the greatest concept and workflow for playing live still to this day, that's why i miss it sometimes...
Nice set. I feel like I hear some reverb in there but yours sounds pretty smooth and 've come to really dislike the reverb on the emx because of how cheap it can sound. Are you just using it minimally or maybe getting that sound with another effect like delay?
thank you! no it's only the emx reverb... but i agree, the reverb on this machine sounds like shit lol... i just tried to keep it subtle i guess... also i replaced the tubes which made everything sound a bit better...
I want a emx, the blue is so dank. are you just recording it over 1/4 cables into a daw or does it have some weird output method I should be aware of before buying?
