How is this video buried down there in the algorithm? I've looked for a video that had a matching Visor cap removal DIY for a Honda Odyssey 2019 model and beyond & I found nada ... until this one. But that's after searching for over an hour. Thank you so much!!!!
Thankyou. The instruction on how to remove the cover was most valuable. Unfortunately my cover broke when I popped it off, but still worth it. One note: the wiring harness receded into the ceiling like a crab into its shell when I disconnected it, and took some finding and persuasion to pull out again. So perhaps people should know to grip the wiring harness with something when disconnecting the old visor. Otherwise needle-nose pliers and a flashlight may be needed to find and retrieve the darn thing. As an aside to Nissan, the cover should just slide on, as in TV remotes and any number of other devices.
Thanks for the video and tip on replacing the sun visor. Mine broke in the exact spot as yours in this video. It broke months after I bought brand new from the dealer. Will never buy another Nissan again.
Thanks guys. I ordered the pry tools. I had many pry tools but not small enough. 3 min and a 7mm driver to change drivers visor on 2018 Nissan Frontier. Bad thing 160.00 for the part but perfect match. Weird we have a 1994 F250 with original visors that are solid and work like new.
I have a 2017 Nissan Maxima and the going price for the original part is $200 to $300. I went to Temu and purchased a sun visor for $18 and although it was for an Altima, it fit just perfect . And great video which helped with my installation.
Thank you for your informative video. I see a lot of people making this video online and never really shown me how to pop off the cap,This is very nice. Keep being awesome.
Excellent, good luck. I have a video where I used that tool. here’s the link for when you get it in the mail. m.ua-cam.com/video/kFEmzp4BpbQ/v-deo.html&pp=ygUXUmVwbGFjZSBOaXNzYW4gc3Vudmlzb3I%3D
Great question. I don’t.🙁 A lot of times they do it like that so you’ll have to buy a new visor if your mirror light went off. good luck, I hope you find a video on UA-cam that takes care of that. I’ll take a look at mine. If I figure something out, I’ll reply back.
@@strategyandperformance tried pulling with needle nose and they are just stuck. Can turn either direction and not biting. Tried to loosen and pull simultaneously, or put pressure in every direction while loosening and still can’t get it to come out at all. Really hoping to avoid having to drill em out
Do they tighten up when you turn clockwise? If you can tighten them, then that’s good. Try to tighten them, not tight and then go back and loosen them up slowly. (which model and year vehicle are you working with boss) If you can’t tighten them up, can you push the bolt up and down the hole?

Wow!!! I’m glad it helped boss!
Thanks for the video, especially how to pop the cover. I was the verge of buying the suggested pry kit, but I successfully used a paint can opener.
Awesome!

I’m glad it helped! I feel the same way, the don’t make them like they used to. Had an Altima that went 10 years no problems. This one… we’ll..😒

Informative, efficient, and entertaining. Thanks!
We are glad it helped!
Nicely done. Long live the joys of manhood.
Headlines are $400-500. And the replacement of it - open heart surgery level. And always check the electrical BEFORE putting it all back together.
You are Brave Doctor!
The part I wanted to see - using the tool was the only part you didn't show
Super helpful. As well as entertaining. Thank you!!!
Thanks Boss! Glad we where able to help!

Thank you! This was a most helpful video!
Thank you so much! I’m glad we where able to help.
do you know how to replace the mirror only without replacing the entire visor?

Where can I buy the actual sun visor for a decent price?
For me it was online, Amazon. You can check your local auto parts store. O’Reillys or AutoZone.
I forgot to mention that I have a link in the description if you want to get it from Amazon.
What do you do when the bolts won’t come out? They just spin and spin and spin.
Takes a while for them to come out. If they feel loose, but they’re spinning, grab some pliers and pull them out. Or spin and pull out.

@@strategyandperformance can turn clockwise or counterclockwise and no change in tightness or depth. Can’t push in any further or out
Is this happening for both bolts?
What sunvisor side is it? Driver or passenger ?
What year and model of car?
Thank you for the help
We are glad you found it helpful!
