- This soundtrack was ported by Trenavix as a result of a donation incentive on my stream. Using the SM64 soundfont was a purposeful decision to give this game a unique charme.

Best job I ever got paid for! :) Thanks everyone for the support!
That's impressive. Good Job on doing that :D
Wow, most of the songs are really accurate to the original, Great work Trenavix! and also Sauraen because without his Seq64 we would be still having issues with volume and pitch bends effects :P
Great job. Will it be you for SM64 Majora's mask hack ?
I am trying to learn how to make custom tracks for sm64. I want to make sm64 Lofi edition. Currently figuring out seq64 because that seems like the route to go!

Ura Yukimitsu thank you i cant do it i had a tablet
Glad I could help support this OST getting made a little bit!
Nathaniel Bandy wait, you helped make this?
Nathaniel Bandy nobody cares
nathaniel scuttle bug bandy every fucking time
Ranger Neun uh dude, that’s rude. I mean he was just saying how he appreciates helping out, no need to criticize...
guess ya dont watch simpleflips enough
Yes, this is pretty close to being done. It still has to be betatested. Like always, I''m not going to give a release date though, this is just to prevent 100 comments asking for one, thx.
Kaze Emanuar Guys, let's get 100 comments on here asking about a release date...when's the release date?
is this some sort of masterplan to provoke releasio 3
Where is Episode 2 of Super Mario Bros. Z?
Dear Mario:
WHENS RELEASE
PS: Shoutouts to singleflips
MadeForReleasio Toad needs something new to do. Fewer uploads lately and I'm concerned.
This is like one big SiIvaGunner rip. It's glorious.
Quality status: *Super High*
I don't think this is quite high quality enough for SilvaGunner's standards, pretty close though
Siiva has put out much worse and much better rips than this. I'm sure it would make it, but there would need to be a joke.
Now THIS is a high-quality rip.
1:27:37 SOUNDS ALMOST LIKE THE ORIGINAL!
it sounds so much like the original in fact, that it got this video copyright claimed...
Lmao kaze got rekt, 2gud
Kaze Emanuar lmao hahaha
Woki Leki 9:36 aswell
The instruments in Mario 64 and OoT were sampled from the same synthesizer, that's why. :>
I'm glad SEQ64 was put to good use here! The arrangements sound great!
I gotta ask though, you must have moved both Audioseq and Audiobank--how did you update the ASM to point to the new locations? I'm planning to add this feature to SEQ64 but the ASM is a big obstacle.
I believe the current “editor” or model importer deals with moving the audioseq index and placements. The audiobank was mostly done by me though through Subdrag’s N64 sound tool. I created a giant global instrument set with 40 instruments from the original game, which helped immensely to use whichever I needed for whichever song. I made space in the sound table by deleting a bunch of unneeded sounds and instrument sets.
None of this would sound any good, however, without seq64. So you’re the real trooper!
Yeah, I've been thinking about why they didn't just always have all instruments available--it must be because Nintendo was trying to use as few bytes of RAM as possible, and not bother loading the metadata for instruments which wouldn't be used with the song. But if the hack is using the Expansion Pak, and if you have the genius ASM skillz of Kaze at hand, then you probably can get away with that. These are all recorded from in game, right? Anyway, I'd be happy to chat more about this if you want, you can find me on Twitter @Sauraen or Discord Sauraen#0047.
When videogame soundtracks become too mainstream and you need something a little more niche, more importantly dank
An Ost I never I wanted and would never happen under its original owners
This is so great, thanks for posting this.
play all of this at my funeral
edit: would probably be the longest funeral ever...
Wowser Bowser so nice
I don't remember this being in the Zelda Timeline
I love how Lon-Lon Ranch sounds in this soundfont. It gets really good when the strings start coming in.
The fact that Ocarina of time started development on the Mario 64 engine can explain why so many of the instrument midis here sound very similar Ocarina of Time.
55:05
?
Cool!
This almost sounds like a music of the SNES era
46:36 I love forest temple :)
S/o to the big thwomp in the sky
Me too I like the instruments used. Btw I like seeing your smb1 runs they’re awesome
Can't wait for this to be released... love your work Kaze. Thank you for making all these romhacks
Also, I can't believe that you used a twhomp as the Moon XD
This is absolutely beautiful.
this Hyped me so much, you are awesome kaze, keep it up
Can wait for this, love your stuff Kaze!
Kudos to the guy who made this. I will never understand how he got the SM64 soundfont to sound good with other songs.
1:07:51 thank me later
For what btw sounds amazing
How'd you know exactly what I came for?
can't wait for that one person to reply "wee wee dance" like it's a ytpmv we get it
THX
♥
Hype train has officially left the planet.
Whoa, I love Zora's Domain - sounds like a tropical paradise now :)
This is amazing, congrats Kaze
So hyped for this :)
I love how Bowser and Ganondorf use the same organ.
I was not ready for 'Inside the Deku Tree'. A thing of beauty.
im so glad the voices are in the fire temple
Now, THIS is some serious dedication!
It really makes sense that Super Mario 64's engine was later used to create Ocarina of Time, Link was even originally meant to be capable of jumping manually but it got replaced with the autojump mechanic for simplification. The 2D games still offer manual jumping via the Roc's Feather/Cape.
Nice work !
Awesome! Looking forward to when this releases. Also LI 1.2 and that invisiwall patch
Good Job!
I can't wait to play it.
Is this gonna be bigger than last impact?
Also shoutouts to fimpleslips
more stars, but this one has around 600 hours in it, while last impact has 4000 hours put into it. i can tell this will be more fun for most people than LI though, because it works much more like modern games in terms of reward/difficulty.
What a time to be alive ^^
I've been looking for something like this, not for any real reason, just to listen to it.
I can't tell you how many times I typed up soemthing like:
[Undertale Song] Ocarina of Time Soundfont
[Zelda Song] Paper Mario Soundfont
Etc, with no results. For something like this to have appeared 3 days ago astounds me. This is just the kind of fun thing I was looking for.
I love this. So creative.
Nice! Can't wait until I can play this wonderful hack! I understand that you are taking a long time because of OoT being a big game. Keep working and good luck! 😄
Wow! This Zelda + Mario 64 Crossover soundtrack is starting to sound great! Props to the people who helped the soundtrack of this wonderful game!
This is amazing
12:04 Hyrule Field was really well made!
Omg. Amazing job.
Amazing!
kaze said on the other oot video that after music is done, only beta testing is left. hype guys.
How long it takes now depends on how many problems they find in testing, which we'll never know.
Knowing the limitations of the SM64 engine, beta testing may be a while...
good work my boy
that's really awesome. you should make this as a cd sound track ^w^

This Game Is Gonna Be Amazing Bro
The legend of peach cap of time 1996-1998
I never would have guessed that the OOT Soundfont is just an expanded SM64 until now. I knew the games use the same engine.
Hyrule Field is almost the same but I notice the slight difference. I love it
I loved the Zelda music and it sounds just as beautiful with the SM64 soundfont.
Is this what they a call a high quality rip?
this is great
Oh amazing
It’s like my childhood collided into one giant mess it’s beautiful =‘D
Ooo, smooth!
YAYYY ur the best sm64 hacker ever!!
Beautifull
Holy fucking shit this is amazing!
Damn, now I just wanna hear what this would sound like with Majora’s mask songs
Yes, that'd be hype.
Holy shit shadow temple sounds amazing!
You are a genious
1:17:26 DEAR GOD!! What did they do to our precious Shooting Gallery??? Now it sounds like if it was written by Quasimodo...
My mind is blown
Very good
40:51
Money WELL spent
Forest temple and ice cavern are really good :D
i want that pic in the video to be my background.
the goron city theme in this soundtrack sounds like its from an old saloon
Holy sh!t this is impressive. It sounds just like the zelda oot but with a little bit of sm64 vibe.
Fantastic work! Any release date yet?
I wish that the flutes in the hyrule field theme in the beginning were louder. Other than that, this is amazing!
i am a hero
Well then! I applaud the creator for using dual music channels ,like OOT did.
this means if you pan left, or right ( in the music file ) you only get half.
interesting as fuck.
kinda want to slap this in a randomized run and see if people even notice
Would have been funny if Kaze recorded himself doing the chanting!
staff roll is hot
Dang it was waiting for the romhack to release. Got too excited. Please release it today.
BUP BOI get back on simpleflip’s wall ffs
you just want to have the spotlight again in releasio 3 don't you
hes still beta testing it
Please do not rush him. We need this to be the best it can be.
Nathan Wright Sorry I'm just too hyped for this
Cool.
Some of these sound remotely the same (obviously), though with key differences due to Mario 64's soundfont being "slightly" different than Ocarina of Time's. I mean, they're on the same system, but each game's instrument sets are definitely different in the cartridge.
Some of these really sound better than the originals
And people didn't want the OST to be formatted with the Mario 64 sound card.
HYPE
1:07:54 Scuttlebug bandy at it again
Lol erstmal den Soundtrack durchhören bevor das eigentliche Spiel kommt. Ich freu mich jedenfalls total auf das Game und schmeiß es auf mein N64 Mini wenn Nintendo es rausbringt.😋
Its a cool game
Wooooo
I was quite worried about the music, but most of these sound pretty close to the original songs. Not quite exact, but close enough. While still keeping the "SM64 charm" you like so much for some reason. (although I only listened to title screen, file select, kokiri forest, and gerudo valley)
this is quite a good compromise if you ask me.
El valle de los gerudos
I,love you
HYRULE FIELD
47:37 HEY PRETTY BABY WITH THE HIGH HEELS ON
LMFAOOOOOOOOO DUDDEEEEEE
OMG !
1:27:38 this sounds almost exactly the same as the original. I think they reused that organ soundfont for SM64
As i have never played this Zelda game, will i get really lost or have you made it for new players aswell?
there will be some little frustrations if youve never played oot (e.g. bottom of the well has a bunch of nonsolid walls, that oot players would know about, but you'll just fall through solid floor out of nowhere if you dont know about it), but overall this should still be very playable.
9:38 Boss theme 1
38:49 Boss theme 2
Can you make sm64 online characters in a rom like you did for character patches but for sm64 or rom hack plus how did you make those models for wario and wauigi for sm64
