the most epic games in chivalry are those where the king actually leads the charges against the enemy, they were more common in chivalry 1 but in chivalry 2 everybody expect you to be a camper queen and flames you if you don't camp in a corner

I know right! I miss when the King would always charge out within the last minute or so but everybody is so afraid to do anything now.
That was truly an inspiring moment, the Heir was at the front line & leading his men head-on into the battle. As long as the Mason's stay together at that time, they could have make a come back ... too bad, the enemy actually pull-off a successful assault at the last moment.

@@ladle7751 I’m a level 270 who rotates between ambusher short sword/hatchet and officer greatsword/mace when playing TO. I can assure you that short sword is significantly more difficult to land kills with than a greatsword. Greatsword and most two handers just do so much more damage and have so much reach that it’s actually easier to get on the top of the leaderboard as I can stay relatively safe along allied lines and hit all the enemies in front of me. With short sword I actually have to get behind enemy lines and expose my flank in order to deal sufficient damage to people. But even then, I end up mostly getting takedown instead of kills due to the slower time to kill with short sword. Skill is definitely an element, but it’s because greatsword is an objectively better weapon in 9/10 situations when compared to short sword.

I need to work on getting my jab to land against 1h users. It never seems to hit
It's quite difficult. The jab that works the most consistent for me is when I input it right after I get hit because they're usually going to follow up immediately afterwards and they're still close because of the lunge.

I dont know what happened to this game, since the patch its unplayable for me. People teleporting everywhere, hits registering like 500 ms too late or not at all... netcode is so bad

It's fun but I wouldn't say it's a go to weapon. Kind of wish it did more damage I feel like it gets outclassed by most other weapons purely because of how slow the maul is.

I love chiv its a fun game but sadly I can't really find any full lobby's anymore to play.
It's dropping players quite quickly unfortunately. I really hope they do eventually fix the game because that's what's stopping me from playing it as much as I want to.

This would’ve been a lot more skillful (not saying it wasn’t) if it was strictly first person, third person just gives you such an informational advantage it’s insane
Third person really shouldn't be an option in these games because of the insane advantage it provides. There is currently no reason to use first person and you're just putting yourself at a competitive disadvantage if you do. It's such a shame because I would enjoy first person more if it was a viable choice.

Do you think the war axe is the best axe?
It's a solid weapon but I don't think it's the best. Anything that's fast, like the one handed swords, are probably the best weapons in the game because they still output quite a bit of damage but they have twice as many options available to them because they can interrupt anything slower than them very easily.
The fact that the people calling you "shit king" probably don't even have 1/4 of the takedown you have

Dude, how and where are you finding servers to play on? Shit is desolate every time I load the game...
Press Play on main menu screen. Then go to More at the very top and do Server Browser. You can filter then by total players etc.
