Hudson I watched you make the Slingshot that was cool . by now you could probably make them in your sleep lol. but I think you should be wearing rubber gloves when you put the linseed oil. so you done Exorbit in your skin. don't want to see it harm you . keep up the good work . everything you make is awesome . Guava wood is wonderful, I have slingshots and ax handles made with it, it is practically indestructible

Start off small, just a saw, rasp, and sandpaper. Then you can build on from there. That’s how I started.

Do you ever have to put your hardwood forks in some sort of oil so they dont crack or split while your working on another part of the fork?
Not really, I only use oil to finish. I haven’t had a cracking problem yet.
