      @@0311matt I apologize for the late reply Matt! You can, on the M70 (and really most all AK's) the rail mount is on the left side of the receiver, and the stock folds to the right, so it isn't an issue at all. Hope this helps, if you haven't figured this out already! 😬

    I have the Zhukov stock on my saiga. With the side mount and a red dot mine lines up perfectly. No need for a cheek riser or a riser for the red dot.

    You should look at a Soto Arms for a new barrel for your AK47. They have a twenty inch. I have one. After watching your video. I picked up a 18 inch barrel from BCA. And built a AR47 with mostly Wilson Combat parts. I purchased their billet matched receiver set and handguard. Along with their hybrid muzzle device and stock. No mim parts. Nickel boron coated trigger. Prime weaponry bolt carrier group. It is a dream to shoot. I also have a sixteen inch BCA in 7.62X39 as well. Upgraded the trigger as well. LMT muzzle brake, Luther stock, Larue pistol grip and Strike industries charging handle. My first AR47 has a twenty inch stainless fluted barrel. Larue straight bow trigger, and strike industries stock. It is extremely accurate. I shoot brass case ammo only out of all of mine. And I make sure the bullets have lead cores. Not steel. My AK47 gets a steady diet of steel case.

      You said something about an adaptor? I’m fixing to purchase it on grabagun. Gonna get the cheek riser too.

      @ExtremelyAverageMan  Рік тому

      Solid man, and no adapter needed, just make sure to get the Yugo version. Grabagun was the cheapest I could find it, think it was like $82 wish shipping! You'll love the stock, especially with the 3/4" or 1/2" riser. What optic do you plan on running?

    Well, I bought and installed one. On mine, when the stock is extended a couple notches, it has play in it and makes a clicking sound when pressing against your shoulder. Does yours have play when extended and make a sound? I'm more worried about it breaking upon recoil. And it's fine (tight/no noise) when not extended at all.

    • @ExtremelyAverageMan
      @ExtremelyAverageMan  Рік тому +1

      I've found that it has a tiny bit of play when extended, but once I "tap" the stock forward a bit forward in the slot, I don't hear or feel the play. I keep my stock in the same spot and don't really adjust it, so once it's there, it's solid.

    I always get a good laugh when a expert uses a rifle rest to shoot from but doesn’t have the basic knowledge that you want that rest as close to the receiver as possible especially when firing from a none free floating barrel… I guess your more into trying to convince people of your skill set…. Ok I’ve checked out your channel and I’ve seen exactly why I expected I’d see. Glad you didn’t disappoint

    • @ExtremelyAverageMan
      @ExtremelyAverageMan  11 днів тому +1

      Welcome! I figured you would be here at some point. I think the transparency was lost with you assuming that I am an "expert", quite untrue! As you can see by my channel name, I am true to form and am a self proclaimed "Extremely Average Man" and tend to build community around like-minded people who have an inherent interest in firearms while on a budget, with limited time, and of whom like to tinker and dabble with gear in their garage with a beer in hand!
      The meat and potatoes of the video was to test and feel out my recent purchase of the good ol' Zhukov stock. I think it's a great stock overall, while people claim "has a face only a mother could love". I believe you assumed I was zeroing when I was demonstrating the ergonomics of the stock- feel free to listen to that portion of the video again, you might learn something about the ol' Ugg boot! I do appreciate you giving me advice while zeroing though as I don't own a Led Sled and typically do a bag/field zero.
      Proofreading typically gives you more credibility, as my English teachers would say anyway haha.
      "A expert"..."None free floating barrel"...using the wrong "You're"...."I've seen exactly why I'd expected to see" truly makes it seem like a 4th grader typed this.
      Now the issue I have in this space is the gatekeeping and the ego in which your channel is demonstrating. Boasting about subscribers, likes, having more firearms etc. is extremely childish behavior and putting down smaller channels is downright heinous and as a man, you should know to punch up, never punch down. I'm sorry if I came off as rude-that was not my intention. I think it's cool that you share a passion with your son and have a like for CZ's (we're a rare breed), but this "My ChAnNeL iS bIgGeR aNd bEtTeR tHaN yOuR cHaNnEl" is silly and if that's truly what you care about, you've created a channel for all the wrong reasons. I barely know how to edit, I use a tripod with a duct-taped leg, and I started this channel as an outlet and as a hobby 2 years ago. We all have to start somewhere right?
      I hope for your channels success and the continuation of good advice for the people out there who need it. We've started off with quite a rocky start, but perhaps a better future awaits both of us out there. Cheers for now,
      -EAM

      @@ExtremelyAverageMan Well showing an optic even though you may not have been zeroing you showed your setup. Being a grammar expert makes you special. I am not. I do enjoy how you wanted to get a reaction . I chose to check out your stuff out I really was expecting better. Now you feel the need to write a novel in order to justify your content. Let’s be honest I used the same(bait you did) and your true colors showed through. It’s your channel so feel free to keep trying to give information in whatever way you have chosen to,even if it’s half hearted filled with holes and shows no real substance or understanding of the subject along a complete inability to provide valuable useful information…. But good luck to you. You should remember you chose me to start or to bait. I show everyone respect as long as I’m shown the same. I do not enjoy or tolerate ignorance and will call it out. Most of if not all negativity comes from gammer kids or people who are jealous it’s that simple. You seem to want a beef for what ever reason that is. I brought up my subscribers for the sole fact (as I stated) for the reason I use the sound trends. Same reason I show firearms. If you feel I’m some how bragging about the number or quality well I’ve never stated it so that’s your own projection. I’m much older than you and I’ve been actively involved in firearms in the industry for over 35 years so feel free to continue to try to talk down to me and then wonder why I’ve shown you zero respect, I will give what I get. That’s the facts bud.
