Very old school food and set up. Thank you for preserving the tradition. Even wok is used for frying potatoes instead of commercial deep fryer.
Many excellent choices...that's the big surprise 😋😋
Wow so nice chicken chop n siew yoke yummy😢😢😅😊
Eaten here a few times and they are truly famous and well known for the quality and taste of their western food. Heard that their cakes are also not bad. All should try their food. Do note that parking your car can be a headache.
Are you sure this is at Chow Kit ????
Chow Kit means the PWTC area.
This look like the old Campbell road. I might have visited it back in the 70s
True, if my memory server me right, it's around Heritage Row, just after, Wilayah Complex.
No lah... major drop in standard... not as good as before. Now is just hype.
Agree. Those days very little instant stuff. Their pork chop brown sauce is the Knorr's instant powder. Same stuff you can get at home. Also I think they get way cheaper salt prices than me cos the last time I had their noodles, the worker was super generous with the salt!
However, couldn't time it right, said 10:30 starts available roast pork, but seated at 11:00 already no more 😅... on a regular Friday... ended up eating no so nice beef brisket wide vermicelli soup.
Yesterday we went there for the roast pork.. reached there around 1:30pm... roast pork already sold out! only available every Friday Saturday and Sunday ..huhu
This is the kind of place I love
Is there a VIP que with shorter waiting time for Hainanese customers ?
It's all hype. Chicken chop is only average when compared to the time when the restaurant was located along Jln Campbell, now Dang Wangi. Mainly attract tourists now
No la just went last week beef noodles was full of muscle only 1-2 piece of meet n noodles were lai fun can u beat tat😂😂😂std drop but price up!!!!
Roast pork belly
It looks dirty and frozen veg not my bag.
Only one's mind is dirty does it view people's cooking is dirty. Frozen vegetables means cutted vegetables is kept at hygiene level.
Malaysia hygiene got big problem. Everything like to put on floor
Was good during the 70s and 80s. Now over rated
This is Not chinese restaurant, it is selling Malaysian style western food.
Ooh? It's hainanese bro 😆
No western food at all. Chicken chop is not a western food but a local Malaysian hainanese food
@@yfhuang4735this is Malaysian style Hainanese weatern food. During the colonial days, many Hainanese worked as chefs for british establishments and families. From there they learned and later on became Malysian style western food. Got it??? If still ignorant, can always do some research. Don’t be ‘a toad in a well’
@@So_Yummiehainan dont have western dish once ... hainan is chiness place.. you declare western dish is hainan food? Funny.. it ia local malaysian food but style create by hainan way only
