  • Farmall Cub- Removing Mower Deck & Installing Front Blade!
    Today is the first time I have ever taken the belly mounted finish mower off my Farmall cub and installed the 35A dozer/grader/snow plow blade. What could go wrong??

    Just go ahead and by another Cub and keep the mower on one and the blade on the other 😂. Great job figuring it out and hope you have a blessed week ahead Chris.

    Man yeah Mr Chris, got it on there!! Boy that deck was a beast!! Ours has arms that unpin right at the rear deck so it will slide right out. But it also has a fast hitch, which I'm sure makes the difference in mounting. That blade looks great, I love the music you and the applause 🤦🤦🤣🤣🤣 Looking fwd to seeing it push some snow!! And heck yeah, fab work finally!! 😁😁👍👍 Thank you for bringing us along!! Goymhad some help finally too!! 😁😁😁🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

      Your deck definitely sounds much easier to remove. Having a fast hitch seems to make one of these more versatile. Just a bit of welding... Glad to have the help! Thanks Nelson 🙂

    That should make a nice little plow tractor. A cub is a handy tractor to have around.

    Trial and error... Looks like you got it anyway!
    Hydraulic angle will be handy!!
    Looking forward to seeing it in action, with no brakes😁

      It definitely was a lot of trial and error 🤣 I hope to get to work on adding hydraulics soon, but need to get some other stuff fixed first. Thanks Ed!!

    The blade looks like it's in nice shape. Yeah, those decks are a pain in the butt to get off and on. The last few times I've done it I back the tractor into the old shop and lift the front end about a foot off the ground with the hoist, then drag the deck out with the skidsteer.

      @dehavenfamilyfarm  Рік тому

      It was definitely more difficult than I thought it would be. I need to get some sort of overhead lift... Thanks Pete 🙂

    Nice work, Chris. It takes me a long time to get implements attached/detatched from my tractor. Glad you had some assistance. When dealing with equipment, it's good to have another set of eyes/ears on your project for safety reasons. I 'm glad you were able to fabricate a bushing holder for the long plow bolt to connect to the mainframe and also figure out how to raise the plow to prevent gouging your road. Thank goodness for hydraulic jacks and devices like that, huh? Well done video and I hope your Farmall operates with minimal flaws. Have a fine week. 👍🏽🤠 1/23/23

      I'm glad I had some help too. Hopefully changing things around will go faster next time. The jack was very helpful but I really need an overhead hoist for the shop. Thank you sir!!

    We had the IH blade that fit a loader on a super C that my grandpa added a 1by8 board on top to make the blade taller plowed a lot of snow with it in the 60’s and the 70’s Also made the original weight box with a barrel that sat on the rear hitch. Those guys made it work with what they had. Great memories
