As great as Jordan was during the regular season he was even better in the playoffs and even better in the biggest moments in the playoffs. Jordan was special in a way no other athlete has been ive witnessed in my lifetime.

I lived in Chicago, and I watched most of the Bull's games during the 90's. Jordan was a joy to watch play. After he retired, I mostly stopped watching basketball, because it just wasn't the same without Jordan.
The reason he shrugged after that 3-pointer was because someone had criticized him the day before, saying he was a terrible 3-point shooter, so he proceeded to shoot 6 3-point shots before half time.

    • @faronanderson2536

      Same dude.
I honestly thought that's it, now I've seen everything in basketball. I've literally just witnessed the career of the greatest basketball player that ever lived. After 1998, I was done, finished. What could possibly top this. I didn't even bother following his Wizard years, I'd seen enough.
I felt I would never see anything like it again. It will never be the same, and I still feel the same to this day, 26 years after he retired from Chicago.
      The greatest ever, hands down.🏀

I have bever heard anybody talking highly about Jordan when it comes to crossovers, it just wasn't a part of his forte, as you said, he was very quick with the jab and the first step, but crossing people wasn't something he did. I wouldn't put him anywhere near AI or Kyrie in that regard, it wouldn't make sense, but I'm 100% sure there's a Lebron fan somewhere who thinks he has top 5 handles ever. Michael wasn't perfect at all, he never thought he was, that's why he kept improving and evolving.

The 56# one you rewinded. The dunk on a 7 footer. There's a story behind it.
He dunked on Stockton just before that play. But a fan shouted at MJ "he's short! Pick on someone your own size"...So Jordan came back and dunked on that 7 footer guy (can't remember his name!). Than as showed on the clip, Jordan looked at the fan saying "is he big enough?"

His first step was to quick for everybody. There was no way defending him, in his prime. You can't stay in the right distance to him, because there is none. To close, he will drive right by you. A step back and he will just shoot his jumper, that you can't challenge. I loved watching Mike. He was insane.

#40, MJ started from BEHIND the free-throw line and was able to dunk the missed shot by Pippen because MJ had quickness and speed to go with his 48” vertical jumping ability…today’s generation of fans probably don’t/didn’t know that MJ ran the 40 yard dash in 4.3 seconds.😳 at 6 foot 6 inches tall no less…MJ had multiple missed free throws put-back dunks in his day….🎤🔥👽

14:41 Scottie Pippen has ONLY himself and his agent to blame for taking the deal he took (which is supposedly the source of their beef).
EVERYONE with common sense around him told him to wait and sign a new contract the next year.
He didn't listen, and his excuse was that he couldn't risk an injury and loss of income to his family.
Michael Jordan had NOTHING to do with Scottie's contract.
Pippen is acting like a child these days and refuses to take responsibility for his own decisions.

  • @tudorm6838

A pronounced lateral movement during a spectacular cross-over requires the player to shift their weight and pivot their feet, which can momentarily slow their forward momentum. Also, Jordan could start in one direction without needing any cross-over. In general, his thinking was towards moving forward, but he could also make twists. If he was going to dribble, he preferred to do it at speed, moving forward.

Narrator, MJ said he got his competitiveness from playing against his brother Larry. Nobody is timid especially MJ while dunking in player's faces. Then he totally admired David Thompson "DT" for his jumping abilities at 6'4 and dunked on lot's players. Just the yesterday a former teammate of MJ mentioned that he used to elbow MJ when was a freshman. However, MJ as a Southmore began to elbow him back. The development of MJ was nothing to due with Larry Bird.

POLO, who's the Goat 🐐 of Basketball 🏀??? Here are 8 great videos that make suggestions to who is the greatest. Of course everyone is going to have their opinion/favorite. So that you don't have to track them down.
All 8 of these videos are great and about 4 years old. *Lebron* has the most views and *Larry* is 2nd out of the list👇.
I personally enjoyed Larry's the most. Not only is he in the conversation of who's the goat 🐐. He won Gold 🥇 *(with his NBA Rivals like Magic and MJ)* at the Olympics, became a *Head Coach (Indiana Pacers),* then went upstairs to the Head Office.... running everything!! Larry's *GENUINE friendship with Magic Johnson* was awesome to see 👀, on and off the court. Oh yeah, Larry also had *Rookie of the Year* as well 😎
*"Making the Case"* by Clayton Crowley

MJ wasn’t the kind of player to party all night before a game, especially not before a Finals game…38 points with flu like/food poisoning symptoms is insane…today’s players would be resting in their hotel room…

He came back at 38, not 40. He ended his career at 40.

I highly doubt we see anyone this rediculously amazing ever egain. Alot of people literally thought he wasn't human no joke. Just imagine what he would do to this pathetic excuse for a league these days!
