    What's the most difficult part of sound design in your opinion?

      Courious question did either one of you go to school for videography?

    • @petersarellas
      @petersarellas 3 роки тому +1

      @@ngfchris I went to film school for one year and then a different, less hands-on media program for another, but eventually left to begin working before I finished

    • @ngfchris

      @@petersarellas oh ok so you really don’t need to go to school to be successful in this field if your work is good enough it’ll just probably be helpful even though everything you can learn is on UA-cam lol

    • @petersarellas
      @petersarellas 3 роки тому +1

      @@ngfchris the quality of your work is the thing that’s going to ultimately determine whether or not you get a job, but networking is a huge part of getting opportunities and school is a very easy place to network and meet likeminded people, so although you certainly don’t need it, it can help

    Does command+E unlock the layers here? I can’t seem to move the audio down a layer. It brings the video with it. Am I doing something wrong?

    • @BeyondTheGame_E
      @BeyondTheGame_E  2 роки тому

      In Premiere Pro, moving audio up and down a layer should not affect the video but if you have a video clip with audio attached and you want to seperate them so you can move them in the timeline independently, just right-click on it and select 'unlink'.

    • @BeyondTheGame_E

      I prefer it that way personally, makes it more real. I hate watching something and not hearing the sound that goes with it. Which is probably why I enjoy sound design in the first place.
