I'm glad you had a good time in Vancouver. It can get pretty crazy on Boxing Day from my experience but you can find some good deals. Vancouver does have a lot of street food now that you point it out.

Dude bbq hut on commercial drive.. So good donair. Good price i could eat there every day. Donairs. And burritos, you can buy exotic meat. Also. So much cooked food organic.

Downtown Vancouver does not have a lot of street food vendors; especially variety. Basically hot dogs and shawarma. Boxing day I would guess is an anomaly as there is substantially more people but the variety of food vendors stays relatively the same

There isn't much variety and no vendor is at one location all the time except for Japadog on Burrard and Smithe. Vancouver is more known for a variety of restaurants vs street food vendors.

Very true, but while I'm a fan of staying at home sometimes, it takes the joy of getting out, walking around and exploring a city, its food and culture!

Haha, gotcha. A lot of us Yanks love that city, tho! Love the Vancouver vibe, somewhat European city vibe, and it's beautiful around all them mountains. But yes, as with every city, there's ups and downs!

street food in downtown vancouver is expensive and overpriced and dont taste good.
Haha quite spendy comparatively, but I did enjoy the shawarma and street dogs. Shawarma not quite as authentic as the Middle East, but it was good!
