Aretha Franklin will forever be an icon. She absolutely crushed "Think" in her sole scene.

Cher is such a diva😍😍😍 and I say it the best way possible. The moment you see her climbing the stairs you can sense all her diva power. And her Fernando performance with Andy Garcia is❤❤❤❤ she's iconic, no matter how small her role is.

It's a shame that Tim Curry and Bernadette Peters weren't in more scenes of "Annie." They really stole all their scenes.

Ann Hathaway in Les Mis singing “I Dreamed a Dream.” If she can steal a whole movie in roughly 20 minutes worth of screen time of course she’s winning an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress! 💁🏻‍♀️

People love to joke about how much Meatloaf must have been paid to come in just to perform the the ONE song in Rocky Horror. However, what a lot of people may not be aware of, if they've only seen the movie, is that Meatloaf was in the original Broadway cast of the stage musical in which his role was actually much larger.
It's tradition in the stage version of "The Rocky Horror Show" for Eddie and Dr. Scott to be played by the same actor. As such, Meatloaf played both roles in the Broadway production. He actually has spoken about his hesitation during early rehearsals when he learned that he'd be wearing fishnets and high heels during the Floorshow sequence. Eventually he fully embraced it. He has also spoken about he wishes he could have done both roles in the movie as well, but the producers decided to cast the two roles separately for the film.
Eddie/Dr. Scott aren't the only roles that are split in the stage version. The opening song "Science Fiction Double Feature" is traditionally performed by the actress playing Magenta since the stage show obviously doesn't have the disembodied lips.

Lots of these are good but I can think of few that didn’t make the list:
    .James Marsden in Hairspray (2007)
.John C Reilly in Chicago (2002)
.Josh Mostel in Jesus Christ Superstar (1973)
.Keela Slate in The Greatest Showman (2017)

All four did give stellar performances to the already A+, class acts that they give to most of not all of the characters they play, musical or otherwise. I'm sure WatchMojo didn't overlook them and perhaps they'll be on an upcoming similar list which highlights characters who play the supporting role in musicals. My only guess as to why none of them made this list is because it's only highlighting characters who made a very brief (such as one to a few scenes) appearance in a musical yet still left a lasting impression. Still, I do agree with you that they were great in each of the respective musical productions. Plus, now this video has 4 bonus titles that others can check out and which star they should keep an eye out for that made their musical shine just that much brighter; never anything wrong in making something even better.

As incredible as the original is, and as sacreligious as this might be to say, I think that the version of Let It Be from “Across The Universe” is one of the few times where a cover is just as good, if not slightly better than the Beatles original. It’s a truly powerful and beautiful rendition of an already incredible song that never fails to bring me to tears

Steve Martin had a similar role in Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band (the movie) as Dr. Maxwell Edison. Like Across the universe, it features covers of Beatles songs by Steve Martin, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Peter Frampton, Billy Preston, and The Bee Gees.

1:16, I still listen to the Songs from the Blues Brothers, including Aretha Franklin's song!
3:30, I mostly grew up with the Theatrical Cut of Little Shop of Horrors on DVD & VHS, and still like it.
Not to mention Steve Martin's Performnace as the Cruel Dentist is still enjoyable.
9:54, I still own The Rocky Horror Picture Show on DVD since last Year.
Everyone's gonna hate me for saying this, but I mostly like the 2016 version the "Hot Patootie" in the 2016 Remake version.
I know its not 100% perfect, but I feel like that Song version has more energy.

gonna say this since he was a part of an`iconic song-and-dance number performed by an ensemble cast and literally only had like 4 lines in the entire movie. the skater guy (don't know his name) who sings that he loves to play the cello in the High School Musical number "Stick With The Status Quo". it may not have been a pitch-perfect performance, but the raw passion for performing in The Arts is there and it's a shame that all the other soloists in that same song got bigger roles throughout the rest of the HSM movies but this guy didn't get a similar level of recognition, in fact he is only on-screen during that number.

I agree with 95% of this, except for your number one. I would certainly add Renée Zellweger and Catherine Zeta Jones from Chicago to the group, especially Catherine’s rendition of Cell Block Tango and they’re duets and dancing together!
