09:46 felt like he looked into my soul and his answer hit me hard Thanks for the shoutout to this video in you recent episode 229 the "2% rule". Chris Hadfield one of the best interviews I watched in a long time! Would not have watched it otherwise
Absolutely riveting and inspiring session. "Your life is not what you set out to do. Your life is just the knitted together series of all of your little decisions, of what to do NEXT..." My decision after hearing those words was to pause the interview and just contemplate them for the next 10 mins. They will never be forgotten. Thank you Ben, Ross, and Colonel Hadfield. This interview should be compulsive viewing for all homo sapiens!
I listened to this on Spotify but I just have to come here to comment how incredible and humbling this episode is. I will listen to this episode more than twice for sure.
This is my favourite and your best episode to date! The topics of goals setting, self improvement and preparedness are important to living a good life but also applies to personal finance. An investor's greatest enemy is himself so applying these guides will help combat it.
Guys, absolutely incredible podcast once again! It's really nice to see you guys branching out and interviewing guests who have some great life lessons to help all aspects of life (and not just financially). So many good details in this one that I need to watch it again immediately. Keep up the amazing work!
Best interview to date! You guys are delivering what the financial advice/investment industry has always lacked, making it not about the numbers and more about what makes a difference to people’s lives!
Only ~19 comments on this one (a/o mid-Oct 2023)? His answer to the final question telegraphs the title of his next book: “Victory by 7:30…Every. Single. Day.”
I keep coming back and listening to this podcast. Great, practical, and informative.

Separately, I love you guys and Chris Hadfield. Together, it met all my high expectations. Great episode!

Have all of my upvotes guys!
Chris Hadfield is so down to earth. (Lol) There isn't a greater example of uncertainty than fantasy football.
