    Don’t know why Sotheby’s universally spends so much of their videos showing hardware details and not much of the house 🤦🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

      It’s a simple answer, actually. It’s because Sotheby’s caters to a very wealthy, very discerning clientele. They already know the properties shown are in the best locations and built by the finest architects/builders. They actually care about the finishes inside the home, or what you are referring to as “hardware.’ This client wants to know whether the faucet in the kitchen is made from real brass, that the countertops are exotic hand cut marble or that the gutters are copper and not aluminum. These people usually have more than one home and even if they don’t, they have the money to care about these details which most people cannot afford to or do not live in a world where such things matter. If this is something you did not inherently understand just by watching, then you can assume you fall into the latter category and Sotheby’s is not posting these videos for you.
