I visited Santo Domingo in October..it's a very cool place to visit, the impression that I got is that they're nationalists and they definitely love and rep their country, the good and the bad...the way they drive is definitely an eye opener!!😉
There is a lot of room for growth there. Too many motorcycles on the road, hopefully this will change as they expand the train networks.
@@JM-pn5nu yes they def need a train station
no they not it's most of fake pride. I'm Dominican and if my ppl would love there country they would not let themself oppress from those Arabs Lebanese who are over the country. it's a fake ideology of so call Spain pride meanwhile the dominican government bought money from the US. majority off black ppl are brainwashed with this mix nonsense meanwhile lighter so call dominican getting all the better jobs. majority of so call light ppl are Arabs Lebanese north African imigrant that came her in the 20s. we have a lot of immigrant they ain't dominican
True, we’re very patriotic
@@LORDWILLIAMSON_ there are train lines. They’re expanding them actually.
I’m Dominican and blue mall is like the fifth avenue in nyc and those area are so expensive only upper and middle class live there
It's wonderful that tourists visit and review our beautiful country. Particularly in Santo Domingo city, you can find some good stuff. Thank you for visiting; please continue to enjoy and learn about our culture, food, and interests.

@@DionsTravels me trajeron mis padres pero te aseguro que mi calidad de vida en RD era muy superior a USA donde la gente cree los dolares llueven.
@@DionsTravels oh sorry about my spanish. My parents. Brought me to USA but my level of life was better in DR than here where many People think the money fall from the sky.
@@DionsTravels i think you have some kind of envy about my country. You sound jelous.
Thanks for the good words you say about my country is a pride for me when someone is very happy with the things in my country
👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Dominican Republic is the real deal. Best place to vacation or retire if you want your dollars to go farther. However, knowing your way around the DR is a skill that needs to be learned and it takes a bit of time and some help so videos likes this are very useful. 🤫
It’s kind of expensive there though
@@harrydaloc9112 it really is, I’m from there and I feel broke in DR but maybe that’s because I enjoy myself too much there 🤣🤣
Dollars will go far in Asia and its more social for FBAS in Asia! I would say visiting is okay, but retiring nooo!
You def blend in 😅! Homeboy looks like anybody's cousin here. Glad to know you had you enjoyed the city.
My country 😍😍🇩🇴🔥

You're absolutely right on point, and I just got back from piantini Santo Domingo after being there for 3 weeks I had ball I didn't even do nothing major just hangout at The Blue Mall and Agora Mall. its just that everything was within 5-10 minutes plus one of the major Supermarket was at the end of the block and I'm definitely going back to Santo Domingo
Welcome to my country 🇩🇴💕
Gracias 🙏🏾 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thanks for coming man, as you know capitals are usually very busy. I recommend you Cabarete and Las terrenas if you want to chill a bit more man, disfruta 🤙🏽

You're very funny imitating dominicans. Welcome to my country bro.
I love the Dominican flavor 😂
I recommend that you visit Anacaona Avenue, it is the skyscraper area of the city.
thank you!!!
DR is in the top 10 of all Hispanic American countries with high GDP blah blah. I think it's 7th place above Argentina. Which is understandable, Argentina is always going thru some economic crisis and scandals. Lots of Argentinians want to leave their country, their currency is always deflating. If you save up 500 pesos by the end of the month is basically worthless. Like, you can't save up money there. I remember back in around 06 bunch of Argentinians immigrating over here. DR and Panama are the highest or faster rising economies and would have been more if not for the Asian related "cough" scare. There are hardly ever any catastrophic weather events like earthquakes or hurricanes. Puerto Rico usually is our shield and eats most of them. The most recent worst earthquake on the island was back in 2010 and that was on Haiti's side so we dodge that bullet also. But a big strain in our economy is the illegal Haitian immigration/invasion and the corrupt politicians, entrepreneurs/business owners that allow it to happen for cheap labor. No different than the US with "mexicans" or latinos and then media and usual suspects try to use the oldie but a goodie narrative of "Americans/Dominicans don't want to do those jobs that Mexicans/Haitians will do". I'm all for Hispanic immigration between each other but Haiti is a different culture, it's not Hispanic. But global entities, NGO's etc want to push all their progressive all inclusivity agendas on us, and we're fighting back against traitors in our lands and media.
If you wanna find English speakers right next to Blue Mall there’s a mall called Acropolis, there are a couple of call centers there.
You gotta find a plug to get into the night life there. Good luck man!
Stay tuned next week man I’m plugged got a lot of footage coming thanks for the help
Thank you for visiting! Hope you have had a really nice moment here. I'd like to hang out with ya and show you some of the things we enjoy here like the hood, how we chill and all of that haha. Bless you, man! Peace
Santo domingo is not wakable at all, but if you want to go to an area that is walking friendly you should try zona colonial, and go to the Paque Duarte there is always a bunch of people, also the parque Mirador Sur, peoples plays baketball, baseball and football down there so youll end up having a good time tho
btw its so true that we dominican are being fresh all day lol
Gracias por visitar RD
Hey Bro, it is very cool to see you wandering around my area. Hope found you and chat a little bit. Fridays at Outback restaurant is good start since many dominicans that go there speak fluent english, therefore you will get a lot of good info that help you in your trip.
Yes, there's a good place to have fun!!! It calls Zona Colonial, you should go.
Good explanation of what to expect. I agree with all points made
Say what you really wanna say 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@LORDWILLIAMSON_ that city is trash 😂
Hey, I am Dominican. Thanks for visiting!!!
I am from Dominican Republic 🇩🇴
You say that the Dominican Republic is not a welcoming country, it is because you have not visited the neighborhoods where the people are very warm and would give you a lot of affection.
Dices que República Dominicana no es un país acogedor, es porque no has visitado los barrios donde la gente es muy cálida y te daría mucho cariño.
I know that now! stay turned for the next episode next week i go to the neighborhoods and i love it
The fact that a foreigner immediately noticed the class difference is a problem. As a Dominican I was really discouraged last time I visited because people would straight up ask me “what are you doing traveling with those people” just because i have a light skin and dress differently
Thank you for visiting my country. Hope you can one day go to Punta Cana, Casa de Campo or Las Terrenas.
Lets get it I I know this is going to be a good series.
Yes sirrrrr
There's no racism here everybody is well come and good vibes

Hey..its feel food when people like you love my country...
The good thing about DR, it has a growing middle class, the area you are in is upper middle class, you would need to visit Santo Domingo este to find the middle class
Hope you had a great time here!!!
This is one of the best contents I have seen about the DR. I discovered you through Razor Raze. Keep up the good work 🙏🏽
Love these comments thank you so much
Cool vibes Dominican Republic to the World
I had hella success out there in Santo Domingo
Thank you for visit DR my Brot
There's a well stablished middle class in DR
keep in mind these are my first impressions of walking around for two days Ive been here for a month or so now so I def learned that lol
Since the late 90s the middle class in DR has seen a huge increase. Definitely not your 'ether rich or poor ' place. There's a very large middle class and even the average poor gets by with some help from their relatives in the US. Fun place.
In our country Dominican Republic when the tourist arrives becomes our brother since the very first time he steps in the country
Quick 5k. Go crazy this year bro. U deserve it!

Hi there! Just like you mentioned you look Dominican, that's why the people didn't notice you or not, by the way you're lucky you didn't got robbed while you where recording 😂
DR is the land of freedom as long as you follow two rules. No Drugs and don't mess with a woman that has a man. Both will land you in a bad situation. Other than that love it out here. Saludos de Prado Oriental!
I did neither so it’s all good 😂
I agree
I always make new friends when there! Especially the people who work at the hotels! Yes there is no middle class!!!
Have fun !🇩🇴👍👍

Do you have a video on how you were treated overall? Many people spreading rumors about mistreatment of African Americans visiting DR.🇩🇴🇩🇴
I will in a few weeks.
He looks like another Dominican.
@@Kronflax He sure do. That’s why that whole thing is stupid. But as a Dominican myself we know the difference between us and Americans because we behave different. That’s about it.
@@_mattynavarro And that video hopefully went viral in the United States so that people can get rid of that rumor
African American or Foundational Black American?, it's a difference, anyone can be an African American..that term is dangerous because all black Americans are not African, some are Black Aboriginals and have been here! Only 3 percent of slaves came into America, an all the rest went to the Caribbean, Carribeans are more African than us because North African Arabs that were Moors colonized the DR. from Spain and brought slaves here to the DR! My people are Foundational Black Americans my people built America and are not immigrants!#FBA
Omg the uber was my high school friend Emerson 😂😂😂😂😂
Yess sirr DR

I think that you are wrong about no media class there still a media class in DR if you go to places like Los Prados ensache Juliet's cascue ensache quisqueya there are family where they have the card a relative good house the tipe of family that have some money but the have to be sure in not spend their money in things the are not necessary
I agree this was a first impression video i make and then i see how my view changes throughout the course of a month
Once i lived there i saw alot of middle class
Thanks for ur insight 👌🏾 hope u hit the subscribe button
a lot of those families are not Dominican they are Arabs Lebanese you will see no indigoubes black dominican over there
those family are for the most Arabs north African immigrant families not real indigoubes Dominican.
Many Arabs also Latinized their names and the majority completely dropped Arabic due to prejudices. Despite being seen as non-Europeans, they were seen as higher up in the Spanish-Portuguese caste or colorist system than other communities.
For example, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell-the spelling of “Mucarsel” in Lebanon is “Moukarzel”-a former congresswoman (D-FL) was an immigrant from Ecuador and of Lebanese heritage.
Migration in large numbers to Latin America started in the twentieth century with significant amounts of Arab Christians, but also Jews and Muslims fleeing the Ottoman Empire-what is now Syria, Lebanon, and Israel/Palestine. While many left after World War I and due to food shortages, some also departed due to population growth and the decline of the Silk industry .
@@LORDWILLIAMSON_ And again most ppl over her are not real dominican. that's why nothing gets done over her and colorism it's remain over her because those Arabs from the middle East brong there Arab slave mentality over her.
Dr. Waïl Hassan, director of the Center for South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Illinois, places Latin America as the host of the largest number of Arabs and their descendants outside of the Middle East, with estimates ranging from seventeen to thirty million descendants. Is it because of America’s obsession with race and group classifications that many cannot comprehend that Latinos can also be Arabs, and that these two do not cancel each other out? Or is it because Americans have mostly been told only one history of immigration since primary school?
It is a good reminder that this Arab community in Latin America is the closest counterpart to Arab Americans in the US-who are often becoming US citizens and already referring to themselves as Americans. Among the most significant differences between the two communities is perhaps the tendency for those in Latin America to refer to themselves as Brazilian or Argentinian rather than “Arab-Brazilian” or “Syrian-Argentinian.” This may be because the US is by far the largest melting pot of immigrants. And, although there are many parallels, the Arab community in Latin America has had the chance to take on leadership positions such as president and vice president, thereby impacting the national discourse on Arab heritage and what is possible for the Arab community.
This achievement can be seen as an example of immigration and integration to many. This is partly due to the multireligious and multiethnic “Centros/Club Arabes” that has allowed many to remain tied to their history and culture while also taking part in a completely new national identity.
Great video! Surprisingly there's not a lot of content on Santo Domingo from the BM perspective! How were the ladies? ...Nightlife?... are strip clubs big there? Thanks for the great content bro? I have been to Sosua but never to SD.
check the other videos I have I covered all that bro !!! check it out tbone!!!!
