    Since I’m baking your cornbread right now think I’ll go ahead and try the sponge cake. I made the cornbread for Thanksgiving and it was such a hit the grandkids wanted more😂. Thanks Candy for never disappointing with the recipes. ❤❤

Keep on posting videos because i love all of them..thanks for making our cooking easy ❤❤❤

    You read my mind lol. I'm like where's a good simple sponge cake recipe.
    Thanks for this!
    Will definitely try💛
    May I ask?
    If I divide the batter in 2 - 9inch pans, what temp and cooking time should I give it?

    • @candythaglamcook
      @candythaglamcook  10 місяців тому +1

      Same temperature cooking time would be less 20-25 mins since the cakes will be thinner, just keep an eye on them.

    No salt? it's a no for me!! you need at least a pinch...45 years of experience as a baker salt is needed to balance the sweet.

    • @candythaglamcook
      @candythaglamcook  10 місяців тому +9

      I used salted kerrygold butter. A smart person would just add a pinch of salt instead of discarding the entire recipe but what do I know? 🤷🏾‍♀️
