The best Mountain Bike tour in Zermatt?

- As the crowning glory of my mountain bike vacations in Zermatt, I do an evening ride from the Gornergrat down to Zermatt. In my opinion, this is one of the best tours Zermatt has to offer. While there are many hikers during the day, there is hardly anyone on the trail in the evening.
The descent is a total of 1400 meters. On the Gornergrat you are surrounded by an incredible panorama of glaciers and mountains. The descent is on great trails, with technical and flowing passages. And of course, there is always the view of the Matterhorn.
I feel your happiness man! Ah the delight! I can only dream of doing this 😞
There are great trails all around the world :). But yeah, we are spoiled in Switzerland with the mountains!
I'd probably react the same way all the way down haha. Beautiful
This track is now on my bucket list for this summer 🤩
I wish you a lot of fun! :)
Ну, что тут скажешь? КЛАСС!!! 👍
Remember me when your famous as your 50th subscriber
That's a good one, I will remember this no matter what happens :)
Great video, that trail looks amazing 👌
Thanks! This is one of my favorite trails :)
@@RobinsBikeAdventures it's one I'll hopefully get over to try sometime soon!
Why have I not found your channel before?! Love your videos. I actually just got back from a business trip to Lucerne, Switzerland. I stayed a few more days in Bulle where my uncle lives. Went mountain biking in Lezin, but it was DH. There's mountains everywhere... So I didn't know where to start.
I hope you enjoyed riding! Yeah there are a lot of possibilities, not gonna run out anytime soon :)
Stunning! I'm now to MTB and curious about realistic speeds. Any chance you have your trips logged on Strava for others to see? If not, can you tell how long the trail was and how long it took, as well as the speeds up and down? Thanks!
Awesome video! you're doing great keep it up!!🔥🔥
Thanks! You get the award for the first comment on my channel!
Ah remember these trails well! Rode them in the mid 2000's. We used to ride in the evening also. Pretty much everyone we met were cool about us riding down, except the Germans, they always shouted at us :(
Ah nice! I guess it was much harder back then because the bikes have progressed a lot...
Hey, amazing video! How long did the whole descent take? Also, I'm going to be in the area this summer and will try to do a ride like you did. Do you know the names of the individual trails you took? When I look up Gornergrat, it seems like that is the name of the top section that there might be a few different possibilities to continue down the mountain like you did. Thanks!
Awesome video, I've just subscribed! Is there anywhere I can find the map of these trails? Great ride! 😁
Trailsforks (www.trailforks.com/region/zermatt/) has a pretty good set of trails in Zermatt
Epic trail! are there many different options from the top? I'd want a double down rear tire for sure there.
Yeah there are multiple options to ride down. But there are also tons of other great trials in the region. I would also recommend a double down tire :)
Hey Robin! love your vids, especially this one. Do you think you can guide me through this trail in June 26/27 2022? I'll be renting a mountain bike. let me know!
Hi Abe. I don't live close by, but there is a chance that I am in Zermatt at the end of June. If so, I will let you know... Enjoy your stay!
Those Trails stick in my Head scince i rode em. Did you Ride the Frugg Trail?
No I think thats one of the few that I did not ride in Zermatt :)
How much time did it take for downhill riding?
I normally call these kinds of trails the 'have your kidneys already traveled up to your neck already'-trail. :P
Epic !! what kind of camera you used?
Thanks! Gopro 9
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
You sound like the monster from the Goonys
what trail is this, i can seem to locate it on trailforks?
A combination of multiple trails, probably something like this:
1. www.trailforks.com/trails/gornergrat/
2. www.trailforks.com/trails/riffelhorn-riffelberg/
3. www.trailforks.com/trails/riffelbord/
4. www.trailforks.com/trails/riffelalp-findelbach/
What is the number of the trail?
What do you mean with number?
@@RobinsBikeAdventures on the maps of Switzerland all the trails are identified with numbers.
Not sure what you mean, some bike trails have numbers, but this one does not...
