    Awesome video. My neighbors liked it so much after the third time they threw a brick through my window to hear it better!

    I'm 3rd generation and this is a great step. my dad always said do 2.50 all the way up to 100 than from 100 back down to 2.50 and if you screw up, start over and do it again and again and again. then we'll work on what happens between the numbers

    Junior, that was really helpful. I really appreciate you taking this approach. I have I haven’t done much work, went to a Missouri auction school where they never focused on the numbers brackets. This has always been the toughest part of a chant for me. Especially the 2 1/2. It’s a great exercise and I really appreciate you bringing it out, looking forward to hearing more of your segments!

    I worked in every aspect of the auction world behind and on scene for over 10 years EXCEPT calling. I was alway embarrassed, self doubting, but always intrigued and interested. Now I would really like to learn so I can donate my time for charity events, fundraisers, community events, etc. Now I feel like I am too old a dog to learn the new trick, but thank you for really breaking it down to the foundation and muscle memory that needs to be built first.

    Thank you for starting with the basics. Grew up on in sales barnes and on site auctions, as my dad is an auctioneer, but never learned the chant. Now, I am looking to start on selling on my own.

    Here from the other side: I plan to attend some auctions later this year. I’m using vids such as this to learn to hear what the caller is really saying - it isn’t always clear, and I can’t bid smartly if I’m not sure what the current price is. You practice calling, I have to practice hearing.

      Kristina Lambert I would encourage you to find an auction school. Check with your state to find out requirements.

    • @JuniorStaggs
      @JuniorStaggs  6 років тому +2

      Timothy Heikoop thats exactly why every reputable auction school in the country teaches them. Tounge twisters are an essential part of creating muscle memory and developing speed, timing, and Rythm.
