It's kinda true that Ten carries their dance routine but in one of their performances at the end of 2019, Ten had an injury so Yangyang (the rapper with the orange hair) had to be in the center during the dance break at the end of one of their other songs (instead of Ten) and he honestly did a great job, almost as great as Ten I'd say. (They did a whole 8 minute performance without him btw and they still smashed it.) However, Yangyang almost never gets any center time when he's not rapping.

Can I suggest watching a Gfriend dance practice? They are known for the synchronization (not to mention their vocals). Their dance practices for “Fever”, “Love Whisper”, and “Fingertip” are some of my favorites!
I love moonwalk so much, but I really wish they had released a more stationary dance practice so that we could see the whole picture + foot work for the whole routine. Their dance practices and mv's for "Take Off" and "Regular" are also very good, plus the camera isn't as zoomed in. (Double plus, more dance break center Ten- something I never get enough of) I'm so glad you reacted to this! I love your videos and commentary, thank you for uploading!
SM consistently gives us moving cam dance practices. They don’t understand that if we wanted fancy camera work we’d watch the mv or a stage. We come to the dance practice to see the actual dance. Like, please at least give us stationary cam dance breaks.

The first time I heard Ten's voice properly was in Baby Don't Stop and just like you I got surprised because I didn't know he has such a nice voice (can't believe SM hid that for years)! He is not the strongest technically but he has such a unique voice that is just really pleasing to hear! Really proud of how much he has grown as a singer, he is even doing background vocals and high notes now! I had the same thoughts about Lucas. Didn’t expect a tall guy like him could dance this well. I remember my first impression of him was, just a good looking idol who’s tall, has model-like features, that is more into having that visual and personality which made him a lil more famous and appear in different shows. But i was wrong, this guy deserve all the love and admiration he’s getting. He just slapped me with the truth that he’s more than a visual. Lol I also agree about Ten giving a different vibe, a more powerful impact whenever he’s in the center. The aura just starts to heat up to another level. His facial reactions and the details of his movements are always on point. Ten & Lucas deserve to in SuperM. No doubt. i guess since you skipped ten's solo songs (dream in a dream, new heroes), nct u baby don't stop, and super m no manners, you were surprised with ten's vocal. the seventh sense didn't give it justice. he improved his vocal A LOT and even in wayv he did the high notes and background vocal, something that vocal line usually does. this is why ten is amazing - he dances amazing but he also sings so well. i kinda agree that ten brings the power in wayv choreography, i can't take my eyes off him! i'd suggest you to react to other wayv's dance practice, especially come back, and then you can try to compare with nct 127 version. i prefer wayv simply bcs they have less members than 127 thus i can fully see the whole choreo and it's more powerful in a way. wayv take off is also a great start! thank you for appreciating our ten :)

Ahhhh...so glad to see a fellow Lucas stan! One of the really impressive things about him is how well he is able to dance. Before he became a trainee he didn't have any sort of dance training or even rap/vocal experience. It sort of reminds me of some of the members like Taeyong & Yuta who are really good dancers but never had any prior training, they just worked really hard. Also during an interview he said he got into SM Entertainment by just doing 3 modeling poses!
Alyssa Aceto so many people would be able to dance/sing/rap more if they had the proper training and resources. Unfortunately so many people don’t have the luxury of time and resources. Really glad Lucas was able to show his talents!

I am so glad you have been reacting to a lot of Nct! They are my favourite group and Ten is by far my favourite male dancer ❤️ A group you may like is The Boyz! Their dance practice for ‘Reveal’ is beautiful and their synchronization is amazing for having 11 members! They have some really talented dancers within the group ( Juyeon being my favourite! ) and sadly the group is underrated. They are definitely worth reacting to!
WayV!! I actually really liked this choreography bc it was choreographed by one of my fav choreographers and they’re from Vancouver, Canada. So when you said it gives a old school hiphop/street i thought of it

For moonwalk the choreographer (scott forsyth) only choreographed it in vancouver but for simon says actually he flew to korea and stayed there for 3 days and spent 24 hours of rehearsals with them. In a ig live he said they were putting in 20 hr days while he stayed with them 10 hrs.
Thank you Jeff, I appreciate your critique, Lucas has fluidity that's so powerful and combined with Ten's dynamism they dominate but then Xiaojun YangYang and WinWin, and even Kun and Hendery showcase solid individual performances. Every time they change their hair colour and hairstyle I have to search again for who is who. Aside from WayV's catalogue there is great dance with Ten and WinWin to Lovely by Billie Eilish that they choreo'd and set and clothe designed that you will really enjoy. Lucas, YangYang and Hendery do a hip hop dance in the same series.

I'm really impressed with Lucas because he actually didn't dance or rap before joining SM. He originally auditioned to be a model in SM originally, but instead, they trained him and look where he is now!! Yes, they camera work is annoying. SM have been doing it a lot to WayV and NCT which is why I was glad the Kick It one was pretty stationary. WayV has a really different style to NCT 127. You can really see it in dances like Regular and Come Back when comparing the two versions. And yes, Ten is usually in the center during the dance breaks. He also is the second older after Kun (but like only by a month), and he has the most experience out of any of them. Most of them only debuted in 2019 or 2018. PS: WayV has 3 main vocals (I believe) - Kun, XiaoJun, and Ten.

The first time I heard Ten's voice properly was in Baby Don't Stop and just like you I got surprised because I didn't know he has such a nice voice (can't believe SM hid that for years)! He is not the strongest technically but he has such a unique voice that is just really pleasing to hear! Really proud of how much he has grown as a singer, he is even doing background vocals and high notes now!

I had the same thoughts about Lucas. Didn’t expect a tall guy like him could dance this well.
I remember my first impression of him was, just a good looking idol who’s tall, has model-like features, that is more into having that visual and personality which made him a lil more famous and appear in different shows.
But i was wrong, this guy deserve all the love and admiration he’s getting. He just slapped me with the truth that he’s more than a visual. Lol
I also agree about Ten giving a different vibe, a more powerful impact whenever he’s in the center. The aura just starts to heat up to another level. His facial reactions and the details of his movements are always on point.
Ten & Lucas deserve to in SuperM. No doubt.

i guess since you skipped ten's solo songs (dream in a dream, new heroes), nct u baby don't stop, and super m no manners, you were surprised with ten's vocal. the seventh sense didn't give it justice. he improved his vocal A LOT and even in wayv he did the high notes and background vocal, something that vocal line usually does. this is why ten is amazing - he dances amazing but he also sings so well. i kinda agree that ten brings the power in wayv choreography, i can't take my eyes off him! i'd suggest you to react to other wayv's dance practice, especially come back, and then you can try to compare with nct 127 version. i prefer wayv simply bcs they have less members than 127 thus i can fully see the whole choreo and it's more powerful in a way. wayv take off is also a great start! thank you for appreciating our ten :)

Ahhhh...so glad to see a fellow Lucas stan! One of the really impressive things about him is how well he is able to dance. Before he became a trainee he didn't have any sort of dance training or even rap/vocal experience. It sort of reminds me of some of the members like Taeyong & Yuta who are really good dancers but never had any prior training, they just worked really hard. Also during an interview he said he got into SM Entertainment by just doing 3 modeling poses!
Alyssa Aceto so many people would be able to dance/sing/rap more if they had the proper training and resources. Unfortunately so many people don’t have the luxury of time and resources. Really glad Lucas was able to show his talents!

I am so glad you have been reacting to a lot of Nct! They are my favourite group and Ten is by far my favourite male dancer ❤️ A group you may like is The Boyz! Their dance practice for ‘Reveal’ is beautiful and their synchronization is amazing for having 11 members! They have some really talented dancers within the group ( Juyeon being my favourite! ) and sadly the group is underrated. They are definitely worth reacting to!

WayV!! I actually really liked this choreography bc it was choreographed by one of my fav choreographers and they’re from Vancouver, Canada. So when you said it gives a old school hiphop/street i thought of it

For moonwalk the choreographer (scott forsyth) only choreographed it in vancouver but for simon says actually he flew to korea and stayed there for 3 days and spent 24 hours of rehearsals with them. In a ig live he said they were putting in 20 hr days while he stayed with them 10 hrs.
Thank you Jeff, I appreciate your critique, Lucas has fluidity that's so powerful and combined with Ten's dynamism they dominate but then Xiaojun YangYang and WinWin, and even Kun and Hendery showcase solid individual performances. Every time they change their hair colour and hairstyle I have to search again for who is who. Aside from WayV's catalogue there is great dance with Ten and WinWin to Lovely by Billie Eilish that they choreo'd and set and clothe designed that you will really enjoy. Lucas, YangYang and Hendery do a hip hop dance in the same series.

I'm really impressed with Lucas because he actually didn't dance or rap before joining SM. He originally auditioned to be a model in SM originally, but instead, they trained him and look where he is now!!
Yes, they camera work is annoying. SM have been doing it a lot to WayV and NCT which is why I was glad the Kick It one was pretty stationary.
WayV has a really different style to NCT 127. You can really see it in dances like Regular and Come Back when comparing the two versions.
And yes, Ten is usually in the center during the dance breaks. He also is the second older after Kun (but like only by a month), and he has the most experience out of any of them. Most of them only debuted in 2019 or 2018.
PS: WayV has 3 main vocals (I believe) - Kun, XiaoJun, and Ten.
How long did Lucas trained for? It says that he joined SM in 2016 but debuted in like 2018 so he only trained for 2 years???
@@yehetgalaxy1441 Yes, I think he only trained for 2 years. Chenle only trained for like 2 months but he was already trained in singing. Winwin, Xiaojun, Yangyang, and Renjun (and maybe some others) also trained for less than 2 years.
