I can honestly vouch for mothers passing down trauma. I experienced it my mother drank to try to get by the trauma and it caused even more. She got off the booze and found a way to deal with herself and her trauma. I did same thing at the age of 37. I contributed to the cycle with my own children who all have been not passing it on to the grandchildren.
I loved my mother but I was definitely closer to my father.. It definitely is rough with daughters and mother's at times

I am and always was closer to my father. My mother was a master manipulator
I fear my son will feel this way. He's 10, his mother will not let me see him without state intervention, and she's accused me of all the very things she has done and is doing. Truly a master manipulator. Very difficult and sad
To clarify, I don't fear my son feeling close to me, I fear he resents his mother once he "comes online"and starts to realize the truth of everything. I don't want him to grow up with the anger I had

The poor daughter can not answer a question without saying “we” as tho she’s afraid to have an identity not connected to her mother. I hope and pray she finds her identity soon as her own and a child of God, separate and apart from her mother 🙏🏼

@@travisjames5 My mom was a single mother who was still very aware of her feelings, able to admit when wrong and apologize. She tried her hardest not to pass down trauma to the point of nearly sheltering my sister and I lol No man was in the house. In fact my father was absent but tried his hardest to buy my love.
Picture the day Cain Abel Adam and Eve were toiling outside the garden when Cain finally spits his dummy from hard work and say, Dad why do we have to grind away out here day and night when in the garden Angeles were feeding us and God use to hang out with us everyday????
