Dear Aly, I can’t thank you enough for this video!!!!! You are always GREAT, but this...It was so so helpful, everything I wished for in a ”romantic” type video🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💓💓💓💓💓💓❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
As a TR/R myself I always found other, less curvy body types more beautiful- but at the same time girlfriends often pointed out that we romantics have ”the perfect shape”. THEN...as life goes by and we put on weight, I almost felt ashamed (stupid, I know. working on that😅) and then try to hide in exactly those wide straight blouses and dresses that you so well explained -only drowns a Romantic 🙈 I’ll stop that NOW. Very very helpful. спасиба красива Aly😻😻👍🏼
@Aly Art Thank you so much for including all of these links. ❤️😊 This is a big help!!! I have an hourglass body and I fit into the romantic body type category, but sometimes it is hard to find clothing that works for an hourglass shape. The Kibble series and explanations are wonderful.
I tried the Pinterest link and it didn’t work. Can you please post the Pinterest link again? Thank you. ❤️. I subscribed your other UA-cam channel too. You have a beautiful voice and your tone and pitch is perfect.
I always heard ElizabethbTaylors eyes described as Violet
Another wonderful video, thank you Aly
It's so strange hearing you use the slang "Tits"! You seem more like a refined "breasts" or "boob" woman then BAM!
I'll blame America
Xx
I think dressing casual is the hardest for me as a person with this body type.
I think
-slim mom jeans that finish just above the ankle
-with a belt to accentuate the waist and
-a top that isn't bulky, rather slim fitting,
-with some sneakers like vans or keds, that aren't chunky or too geometric
And you can add to that some jewellery or accessories for romantics and it will look amazing. You can watch some videos for romantics for more specific things. But hair and makeup are the most important, so if you wear a simple outfit like that, with the right haircut, hairstyle and makeup, it will look very good on you
@ms. X I am finding that sometimes just tucking in the top makes a big difference. I am also now choosing more open neck t shirts instead of the crew neck kind and shorter rather than boxy.
Same
@@mairadilimiti9877 thank you so much ❤
I agree
You have no idea how much I appreciate your videos as a Romantic. They make me feel much better about my body! ❤️
This is so fabulous! I’m also a romantic body type, and now I see why my taste leans towards the 50s with that waist emphasis and body contouring or flare skirts. Oh Liz Taylor, what an icon! Thank you for such an in depth video!!
Being a theatrical romantic myself, I have great respect for the time and attention that went into much of Elizabeth Taylor's wardrobe. Her best lines required a lot of tailoring and cohesion. I'm very excited for Aly to release a video on someone like Vivien Leigh, because a I believe a key difference for theatrical romantics (as compared to pure romantics) is their inability to wear clothes that create a harsh delineation between top and bottom. I find achieving both waist emphasis and an unbroken and fitted silhouette has become very difficult in today's fashion industry. (I'm told I look best in high waisted pants, but basically those pants must be the same color as my top or should I just always wear dresses?) I also appreciate all the time that went into making this video. You can really tell that Aly does a good amount of research beforehand.
It’s a real problem to find fashion that’s monochrome. You have understood your lines very well RACHEL
YES!!! I absolutely need waist emphasis but look so off in color blocking!
Again, yes a thousand times for Vivien Leigh!
This is so funny to me, because I hadn't realized this was a TR thing, but growing up my ballet teacher (a veteran of the MGM studio dance troupe in the 50s) would always be adamant that I shouldn't wear anything that would "break up my line". She also hated it when I cut blunt bangs. 😂
Well this is a revelation. I'm a TR and this makes so much sense. Thank you
YEES!! I feel like people always use Marylin Monroe as a guide line for Romantics, but i never felt like the " vibe" was right for me (i'm more into a Vamp look) . This made me understand way better how to translate my style to a Romantic context
Suzanne Pleshette had a romantic body with more of a “witchy” look. I don’t mean witchy bad. I mean darkly mysterious.
@@myrtle1234 uuuuh 👁👄👁 thank yoou .
Same! I’m not into pastels or overly girly looks. Vampy all the way!
Same I thought I was the only one. I don’t like her mannerisms 🥴
I heard “tits” or thought I did. I said to myself, “ nah, she didn’t say that” then she said it again and I cracked up. I love this gal!!
Omg me too hahaha i pause and then she Said it again and i was like "oh, she did!"
I did the same thing! “Her rib cage is narrow with a couple of tits on top.” Hilarious.
same xD
@@Inanothertimeandspace i died at this one 😂😂😂
HAHAHA same!!! xD I am dying!
Oh yes, a video on Marilyn Monroe 👑
For sure!!
@@AlyArt is there a soft classic person to do?
@@Peayou... Not a classic actress but I would like to see Lupita Nyongo since she has a unique style for Hollywood and she is a Soft Classic. That would change from Marion Cotillard, Kirsten Denst and Naomi Watts.
@@jasmeen5712 Lupita omg she is beautiful I didn't know she was sc. Definitely want to look more at her style.
I have always felt she was one of the most beautiful women in the world, just stunning
this is my body type and i've always really loved structured, boxy, and boyish looks but I couldnt make them work for me!! romantic styling does look good on my body, but I don't think it suited my personality all the time. This video really helped me seeing how she styled herself for the trends that went against her body type, like the 60's and 80's. I think I know better now how to balance my personal style with my body type and im really excited to try it out :)!
Elisabeth Taylor in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. Just stunning. Girl crush! 🥰😍
Watch her in GIANT. All 3 lead actors were gorgeous
@@YasmeenQ oh yes. James Dean 😍
Yes, also Taylor on Suddenly last summer with the white swimsuit. The sexiest ever😍
Also watch A place in the sun. Both amazingly attractive leads ever.
As a romantic so many of these things make sense about clothes!!! Thank you Aly! 💟
UGH that comment about shapeless dresses hanging off our chests... we look 6 months pregnant, no lie
My favorite actress of old times. Thanks for the video.
About Cleopatra, the make up (Elizabeth made it herself) was accurate but producers decided the dresses and hair reflected modern times (the 60's).
And yes: all over the years MORE IS MORE was the motto of this great woman.
Até as mutações que ela tinha faziam com que ela ficasse mais linda. Lindíssima, feminina demais e voz aguda suave, elegância doce. Linda essa atriz, eu já assisti uma dezena de filmes dela. Ótima atuação
I agree on the ash blonde because she had cool undertone and also in my opinion the color of her eyes needed cool tone colors to pop even more...that pic with her warm blonde not good at all
the amount of times you said T*TS in this video hahahahha. Normally, we would say BUST. But, hey! Either works. lololol
Ha, I thought the same! I'm not a prude but it surprised me everytime. We would say bust, wouldn't we
It was so unexpected and I don't know why 😂😂😂
Yes, it is a bit jarring when compared to most of her speech!
Yes definitely not tits lmaooooo she makes it adorable she’s incredible
100% agree. Bust or boobs ... but tits??? OMG I think some misguided English tutoring is at play here.
The pinterest boards help a LOT. I recently had to get rid a bunch of clothes and used the romantic body type one as an outline. Thank you 😊
Always so great to get romantic body type info and inspiration! I’ve actually got a short torso to waist ratio the same as ET and so now it makes sense why I always gravitated to cropped pieces or tops that sat right on my waist!
Same
I really appreciate you for using these iconic women as an example. Growing up in digital age, I find people online these days have the same body type and I sometimes feel not beautiful for not fit in.
Aly I loved this video! I have always felt that as a casual person, a romantic, and short (5'1"), that it was not impossible but definitely a challenge to shop in these times. You confirmed for me that too many puffy ruffles and "width" is too much for a shorter romantic. I have tried to add a few details here and there, but I like to keep things simple. I love the photos of Elizabeth in a boat neck tee, 3/4 length sleeve, simple pants, or shorter sweaters. I do that too. Little heels, yes! Soft wavy hair, a little "done" compared to other styles dressing, and jewelry!! Check check!! Her 70's looks are wild! I'm not attracted to that, but she really was amazing. Thanks for the videos, I'm going to check some more out...
This video is just in time for me. I'm trying to find solutions for my wardrobe. The problem with romantic body type is that we look plump to begin with and if you add some weight gain on top it just destroys you and you look like a box all the time. Any bits of styling advice is appreciated.
TR, similar problem especially with my short wasp waist. If there’s any fat on my waist I just look like a chunky little bird with my bust and long legs 😂 tops with soft, thin fabrics that show off the figure really help, I personally love a halter top for its retroish silhouette but anything works as long as the straps are thin and delicate, wrap dresses and blouses as long as they’re more delicate, soft tapered pants that fit at the ankle and natural waist (could also be leggings if you’re doing a very casual look). Drawstring and high waisted shorts or bottoms really help cause they are still comfy ^^ Generally make sure the shape of your body can be seen as much as possible which means fitted at the waist, wrists, hips and ankles. Belts help a lot and can also add a bit of style but make sure they’re a bit neutral and delicate to not make a huge distinction between the top and bottom half. Also as a type of romantic you can afford to have ornate feminine details such as small ruffles, shirring, rouching, sweetheart and rounded necklines/hemlines. But it’s still important with the details to keep the neckline open. Shimmering jewelry with ornate little details really adds to our look-we can pull off a lot of glitter if it’s very delicate and glamorous pieces. Our shoes should be delicate and fit nicely to the foot-when I try to wear my flamboyant natural sister’s chunky heels I look absolutely ridiculous 😭 I’m sure you’ve noticed delicate is really the keyword here and I literally can’t stress it enough. Even if you feel a bit plump, you still look great defining your waist and body shape, as it’s generally more flattering than tents and deconstructed on us. The one thing I will say is I think romantics, with their slight feminine width compared to TRs, pull off an oversized sweater or hoodie better. Pure romantics also look better in kind of fluttery, flowy dresses. Even overweight, my narrowness makes me look kind of lost in them, which I find so sad lol. Anyway, hope this helps 🤗
@@shirin9452 thank you, I'll keep that in mind. 😊
@@JR-sx3gl no problem! One thing I actually wanted to modify-you don’t need the ornateness as much as a TR. if the silhouette is a bit flowy and airy but has feminine details and waist emphasis, I think that’s enough for you guys. I got a bit caught up with TR specifications 😅
@@shirin9452the part that you talked about chunky heels really touch me😳,once I tryied a chunky heels and I looked soo strange😵💫
Natural and soft natural lines are the hardest types for me to understand, and also how to combine them. I can't wait for the video on analyzing these types.
And if you are a short one (5’ 2” in my case) it’s even worse! 😩
Finally! This video is everything! You highlighted some of the aspects of my body that kept me so confused about my romantic lines and now it all makes sense! Thank you so much 😊💛
Aly ! Could you do a video on Olga's 18 essences? There isn't much information about it on the internet yet
I don't think Aly Art knows Polish language as Olga's site is not fully translated into English.
From my point of view, her Ethereal typology is quite controversial. It assumes that your style essence is related to your aura, but reading your aura is highly intuitive and subjective. At the same time her moodboards related to the Ethereals can be really inspirational.
@@peacefreedomandwealth there's an English version of the website.
@@Softening.into.His.Glory. So how do you like it?
From what I understand, despite the limited amount of material, olga is very much in control of her content and doesn’t want it out there by other creators.
Love these videos, finding my kibbe type has given me new found body confidence and renewed my love for fashion 💖
Same here :)))
Elizabeth Taylor’s street style was absolutely stunning. Even the pieces I’m not that crazy about, I can’t help but admire her sense of play and fun. More is more. She was sexy as hell and she knew it! ❤
13:50 I don't know why, but I cracked up hearing you say tits instead of breasts or chest or bust
I thought I heard wrong so I rewounded a few seconds to listen again. I think that's kind of odd.
Same 😂😂
Doesn't that mean the same thing? English isn't my first langage too...
So cringe 😬
@@BreckH 😂 I love Aly, but that word is pretty crass.
Elizabeth looked amazing in the movie from the 50's called The Last Time I Saw Paris.
Yes! 😍 Loved her outfits too in that movie.
I agree. Gorgeous clothes in that film.
Elizabeth is my all time favorite, a true natural beauty!
She actually had a small nose job as a teen. Hollywood used to be good at “improving” the looks of stars without homogenizing them.
Wow! Your hair color has never been better! Could you do a video about how you achieved such a perfect blonde shade?
ET for me is a combo of Audrey H & Marilyn M. Classy like Audrey and sexy like Marilyn. True beauty
For a second I thought you meant the alien E.T. Lol
@@AnninaMelissa Excellent Taste???,, I 'think' I wish people wish just stop inventing these things
Elizabeth was not just a beautiful romantic but a wonderful woman. One of my favourite looks is actually a rare and unusual one at 12.30 with the oversized pants. How she made that work for her is pure mastery of proportion. If the turn ups were not done, if the belt was thinner and the shoes a different style it would not work. But she nailed it! Romantics should try this look more. Another look I like on romantics is the sweetheart neckline which she was known for and looks perfect on Marilyn too.
In fact her 70s eastern look was inspired by her trip to Iran. She brought back many fabrics and clothes from there. She was brave to show her grey hair streaks in the 80s. She really was a unique and open minded woman.
Another great talk and examples! It was entertaining especially your word choice for breasts made me laugh out loud.
OMG, I have the same “problem” with the short waist and longer legs which is why I thought for some time now I am a soft classic since they tend to have longer limbs. 🤦🏻♀️
Thank you for this video! 🤗
I am so glad you did this video! I’m a romantic and love the “bling” like Liz.
Such a great video! I appreciate the amount of research you put. Would you please consider doing a theatrical romantic style analysis of Vivien Leigh, and a Gamine style analysis of Jean Seberg or Leslie Caron.
Aly, this was so well researched and completely fascinating!
Personally I think it's tragic when brunette beauties such as Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren and even Jaclyn Smith go blonde when they are older... ;( - but I totally agree with you that Elizabeth looked gorgeous with some grey hair!
Could you do romantics with styling essences ? Like comparing people wether celeb or not and tell us their essence ?
This is an EDUCATION. Your videos are well-researched, thorough, informative, and clearly communicated. Thank you! I just subscribed. Keep up the excellent work!
Please do a Priscilla Presley style analysis
I'm wondering how many other Romantics have big hips and have 2 sizes of clothing.. After 64 yrs of trying to stay in one size, i just keep 2 sizes now. One for skinny days and the other for not skinny days. I don't know if it's true for other Romantics or us older Romantic women,,, but i retain water in the tummy and bust. I wonder if our hormones make us prone to it. I used Natural Progesterone Cream for a while (I 'think' it is from Wild Yams??) but its Natural, and i would say it helped keep less water retantion!,, i am going to start it again.
Short torso is a menace! to shop for especially if you are more curve dominant.
I could NOT Agree More,,, My Whole LIFE,,, i have to try on SO many clothes to get it right.
Wow, I am not romantic but your description of Elizabeth’s body structure is very very similar to mine. The short torso, the high waist, long legs, can’t use high waisted pants, the bulkier appearance of the body (in my case is bones). I don’t look good with waist emphasis because of this. I feel that if you are petite no matter the body type, clothes tailored to your petit-ness is so important!
I wish I was born in that time, my body and face seems to be in accordance to the beauty standards 60 years ago😭 not at all these days lol
Yes! In high school I felt so out of place. It was impossible to get ahold of clothes that looked right on me. Now they're everywhere but overpriced usually.
@@jasminejackson4298 So overpriced! I can’t find a jacket tailored for me that costs less than $100!
@@di3486 so ridiculous! The affordable stuff doesn't last! I basically wear the same quality outfits over and over lol
Elizabeth Taylor is my favorite in every way. I always thought she had the most beautiful face. Nobody could compare to her. I love you Elizabeth, Debra Bader attic
You are amazing Aly, so accurate!!! I live in Latinamerica and now I've realised why most of women dress so colorfully and flashy... most of them are on the romantic side, quite pettit, delicate and at the same time very spicy!! I though it was just bad taste (I'm kind of austere looking) but now I've realised that is a matter of essence and vibe. I can't even wait to see the Dramatic Icon, wich according to the test (that I had to repeat 4 times 😂) is my type.... Saludos desde Asunción, Paraguay 🙋♀️
As a classic movie fan, I love your style icon series! Could you do one on a Dramatic, maybe Lauren Bacall or Joan Crawford? I'm a Kibbe Dramatic and I love vintage, especially the 1930s and 1940s. Thanks Aly!
I do love sixties style. Maybe it’s me but I think all body types look great in sixties clothes, hair and make up.
Hi its lovely to become a member and I'm enjoying watching your vlogs immensely and it's such a joy to see these images again of such iconic legends of our silver screen again and photos of the amazing old age of Hollywood and screen icons, fashion and dedications thank you so much.
Just my own mild humble opinion is that I would like to hear maybe some more reverence and homage from you upon your dedications ( I'm not trying to sat that you are appearing disrespectful in any way, but I guess in some way I am being more mindful of say the character and respect that these icons deserve etc...
In other words, if the Dame OBE Herself Miss Elizabeth Taylor was indeed alive today it gives us a sense of how she would feel and her impression of "what you" are talking about, and maybe to question in your own thoughts and empathy, how would you truly feel she would interpret your opinion of her? This is only my humble opinion asi am not qualified in any way at knowing anything about the psychology of determining the character of an individual by the way they look as its purley biased and subjective.
I do agree that we are all able to express upon uutube, or admittedly globally free speech upon anything we wish to say, and express opinions upon whatever we see fit etc.. but I'm just trying to give another type of feedback here to suggest... maybe it's worth a comment or a disclamier at the end of each video saying of course " this is your own private opinion about things and yes indeed you have provided some incredible facts and historical interest which is amazing and it's fascinating to listen too?
But maybe it's just worth giving your own take upon how you would think Dame Elizabeth would have herself have responded to this should she sadly be alive?
She was indeed, in my opinion one of the most incredible powerful legends of the silver screen of her time, a truly hugely significant figure in terms of her iconic beauty and radiance and indeed, a very powerful self taught actress and her work upon the stage was incredible.
She was also a force to be reckoned with and an incredible strong and fiesty and determined character both on stage and off.
My opinion humbly is not enough is said about her personality but I do agree upon both her shockingly beauty and her shocking strong character were matched in some capacity... But still she is treated literally still in Britain as a Queen of the Stage and Screen, she did expect this homage where ever she went... however that was the way she had created her life to be....
I would just like to see more verbal homage too these icons slightly more, if that would be ok?
But as I say please don't take any offense here, as we are all able to remain open and transparent upon our reactions and observations
Best regards and look forward to seeing more
Marie 🌺
Thank you for such hard work. I can only imagine how much time you spent searching and analyzing the data.
I am definitely a petite romantic when it comes to my figure, but I am always drawn to flamboyant geometric style. It feels as if too much softness makes look like a cake and my personality dissappears. I'd rather wear a suit than a pink feminine dress and if I do, my hair has to be sleek in order to compensate.

Omg I’m soooo happy you did her. I’m a romantic
I think Elizabeth Taylor looked amazing with blonde hair but her own dark hair color looked equally charming with her light eyes and dark eyebrows. Such an icon and talented Hollywood Goddess she was.
Thank you for the style reviews series! they are so
they are so peculiar! and your skill in analyzing is definitely on point!
Girls with Romantic body type I have a question. Do you think tweed jackets (Chanel style) could be a good choice?
Her body type is exactly like mine ... and I'm 5'3" and hourglass
Aly can you do a style analysis of Ann Margret? She was HUGE in the day and kept her style up - I think she'd be fun to analyze and as a red-head pretty rare. :-)
Yessssss please!!
She’s also TR 😍
This is fascinating!! She was so tiny,, i had NO idea. I remember her best when she came out with her perfume, she has a BIG presence on the screen for a tiny lady! Im a Romatic Body Type so this is PRICELESS!. We are NOT easy to dress, I think because of all the Curves,,, NOOO Straight Lines, it's temping to get a nice flowy dress,, and not keep playing to make a waist area, but i'll keep watching. Your video's are A HUGE GIFT! for Us Romantics :),, THANK YOU THANK YOU GRAZIE
As an ageing Romantic, nothing is harder to reconcile than a middle-aged thickening middle and the concept of keeping up ‘waist emphasis’.
In all the comment and content on YT about body IDs (and this video is excellent btw) there is so little focus on how a body changes over time. This follows Liz Taylor over half a century! I wonder if it’s because so many commentators are young.
I don’t blame her for focusing on the jewels once she lost her waspish waist. I’m tempted to switch to accessories myself, along with jogging bottoms.
Very true,, i never thought i'd gain weight around the waist,, never. im 100 percent romantic type, now at 64 i know i look good, youthful, etc. But without that 25 ? ince waist of my youth, and with a high torso,, i don't know What to wear. a longer top actually looks better on me, as long as it's not boxy. i live a Super quiet rural life now and don't really 'Go' anywhere, i don't work. Well, all us older romantics can do is keep our waists at the 'new' number. im trying to lose 10 lbs so i will be 130. i so the best i can to keep at 130 but it Creeps up so much Faster now. in pants i always have to have 2 sizes.
so Yep i couldn't agree more, Im working at a whole new style, but very simple. also, i started using progesterone cream,,, and i feel it balances my hormones and i don't get as much bloat. so other older romantics might try this,,, We are Surely Estrogen dominant,,, LOL
Love your work ! The word “tits” is so harsh and I feel like it contrasts with your presence and delivery so much !
Amazing information 😍 cant wait for marilyn monroe too 😍❤ loved ur videos since ages 🤟 the information u come up with is just out of the world!! Loved it!!
Amazing series! Thank you so much for your work! 🌼
Violet eyes so rare x
Yes, especially when framed with double lashes (distichiasis), like Elizabeth Taylor.
Thank you for posting such detailed and well thought out videos. I really appreciate your knowledge on beauty and style.
I’ve recently started wearing head coverings for religious reasons. I’m very curious if you’ve thought about head covering styles for the body types/face shapes? I’m a kibbe romantic with a roundish/ovalish face and I would love to honor my lines while head covering
Could you please do a style review of Josephine Baker next ?
Thank you for the wardrobe links!
Hi Aly, love your videos you are really helping me refine my personal style. Can you do a video on sneakers/athletic shoes/trainers (I don't know what they are called in your part of the world) which styles flatter the body types and ow to incorporate them into casual and workout clothes?
Yes 😍
I love this video. It's no wonder I've been confused all my life about whether I was a soft classic or a romantic. I have the proportions of the hourglass and the flesh like the romantic but when I saw the photos of Elizabeth Taylor compared to Grace Kelly there's no doubt in my mind now that I'm a soft classic. And why dressing to the advice for the hourglass never worked well for me.
Interesting to see the class and femininity of someone like Elizabeth Taylor. She was one of the actresses my Mum admired, but she also admired Joan Collins. I have seen her interviewed about how she maintains herself. Personally, I think I aspired to her because she would say have good posture and look after your skin. Make sure your shoes match your bag. The one thing I’ve never forgotten was her saying is make the best of yourself every day, for you!
You look very elegant May I say 😊🇬🇧
I think her 70s style was very regal and beautiful
Very interesting video! As a romantic type I can share my solution to wear a bulky dress or shirt without looking bulky - I make a couple of pleats under every breast, very gentle and tiny, and may be on the center of my back. It creates some visual high waist emphasis but you still feel very comfortable in a wide dress. When I don't use that little trick I have the same problem as Elizabeth Taylor's in the 60's ;)
can you pls do more "recent" romantic celebs?
Lol yes I came to the comments too about the “t*ts” word. hilarious! Sweet though. ❤. Bosom would be the correct word but not as funny.
Liz Taylor was so beautiful! I wonder if she had a nose job and possibly some other procedures. If so, that is the most perfect nose job I’ve ever seen!
She had a nose job.
I'm really struggling with knowing if I'm theatrical romantic or not 😭😅.
But I did notice that when I wore something with a sharp/harsh emphasis on my waist (I wore this leather jacket and high-waisted jeans) it looked kinda weird in a picture. But when I'm wearing a short form-hugging tshirt and my baggy pajama pants, it looks weirdly nice? 😆
I don't know what I am tho; I get very discouraged when I go shopping in Beyond Retro or whatever and everyone looks so cool but I don't 🥸
Also I'm so confused about my hair, I think I have between an oval/long face, but I have fine straight-ish hair. And my hips are my NEMISIS! Any trousers I want to buy can never get past my wide hips, but they would fit my waist fine!!! 😫
Beautiful ! Thank you !
Thank You cheers from Pennsylvania 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Please also check her photos in Iran... They are amazing, she looked really good in traditional persian clothes... ❤❤
OMG! One of my favorite cultures😍
Amazing post! Thank you so much you are exceptional Aly
Thank you for this video, you are a champion of clarity when it comes to the complexities of body type + decade. A language tip, if I may: 'tits' is not a nice word. The neutral word is 'breasts'.
As an R/TR i truly appreciate you doing this!
Oh my gooosh I thought Elizabeth Taylor is Soft Gamine!! I've read it on one of the blogs. Now I don't know haha 😂 I love her Cleopatra looks. I love love love over the top looks haha 😅😂
“Bust” is more polite in talking about a woman’s body in regard to fashion-“tits” is pejorative.
yes, i agree
This was interesting and very informative, thank you! :)
ALY PLEASE PLEASE A VIDEO ON HOW DRAMATICS CAN DRESS CLASSIC (not kibbe classic, but classic style like basics/capsule wardrobe thing)
You can already find some inspiration on her pinteresr where she has the wardropes for the bodytypes
=D Your use of the word "tits" is very endearing, haha. Clear note, it is very obvious in context that you are not vulgar at all and this is a second language whoops happening (am speaking German as my native language and English second and definitely been there before), but yes, "bust" or "chest" is a more professional term to use in the future, but don't sweat it, it's clearly nothing scandalous.
This was a very informative video. I am a rather "busty" Soft Classic and like watching Romantic style guides for accommodation there (even though it does not yet throw off "balance"), and your style analysis is lovely as always. You're a breath of fresh air. Thanks for creating lovely content.
Aly, you are the best! Thanks for everything.
Can you please explain about real jewelry (everyday gold - which are delicate because it is gold / diamonds / pearls ... not fashion jewelry, something that is regularly worn on the body) for any body type?
For example - if I am a natural body type, what to choose so that it won't look delicate or too light for my structure ...
Hope I was able to explain, thank you for this excellent channel❤️
Loved the video !
Hi Aly, could you please do one of these videos on Priscilla Presley? Everyone on the internet is quite confused about what she is. I've always thought she was a TR or even Romantic. I am a textbook R and regularly get told I look so much like her. She is soft and fleshy, moderately petite at 5 ft 4, with a round face, romantic-type features, but something about her shape seems more TR than romantic, I think because she's not so busty and fleshy around the hips and carries more flesh lower down in her thighs instead. I really do think she is TR and more yin. People on reddit disagree over whether she is a TR/R or Nature/SN and even dramatic classic. I do think she could also be SN though. Would LOVE you to do a video on her.
Woe, I really fell in love with Elisabeth Taylor in the Trenchcoat. In the picture where she is sitting in the car she looked just like Romy Schneider. But I think Romy, is classic, isn't she?
Romy was pretty short (1.62) and I am sure she was gamine.
Can you be a romantic with a bit longer nose I 'm pretty sure that my body is romantic cuz it looks exactly like Marley Monroe...? But I'm confused about my face maybe Bc of the essence...?
I still have no clue what I am. Any tips on where to go or what to do to get feedback on what type a person is?
Can a romantic be 170 cm?
I am having a hard time with my kibbe body type... I am curvy and hourglass, 170 cm and also foot and hands and facial features moderate and soft.
I think that would clasify you into the Soft Classic category
@@laramurieltzvir80 Thank you so much, I thought about that too but I am much more curvier and I have big breasts so I thought maybe not soft classic...
@@vitadinaz It depends on if it's the first thing we see while watching you. I am also curvy with my waist and hips but it doesn't jump to the eye. If that the case for you, you could be a Soft Classic but if your curves are really prominent, than I suggest you to watch if you could be a Soft Dramatic (how are your bones? Do you look tall?), Fambloyant Natural or Soft Natural (do you some width?). All 13 body types can have curves but not all curves are the same.
What size feet do you have if you don’t mind me asking? You may be a soft dramatic? I thought I was a soft classic for ages but I’m now thinking I’m a soft dramatic after seeing the Sophia Loren video. You sound quite similar to me.
@@jasmeen5712 mmm my curves are prominant and I am 170 cm but I look taller sometimes and my bone structure is medium like my angles and my wrists are not large at all, but I have wider shoulders. Can I send a picture here? 😅 I really want to know my kibbe and I have tested a lot but never the dame results 😅
wow, she is Right On when she says that there weren't that many different Kinds of clothing in the 50's. Totally true!,,, There were 'shells' which were basic knit shirts, i don't even know if they had sleeveless!.. i think they always had the short sleeves,, they were Summer clothing. Then you always needed a sweater,,, which was always feminine type of button down sweater,,, in one basic style. They were always soft and pretty lightweight. Skirts, you could show Part of your knee, but NEVER any shorter!,, Noooo. There were always nylons with dresses. You wouldn't even think, as a young working girl to NOT wear nylons. Necessary. SO Yes,, it was Completely different. How Odd to think of it. but the clothes were good quality, they lasted, they looked neat and nothing was cheap or wrinkley (God Forbid!),,,, The cotton was Incredible quality vs cotton today. those clothes were 'normal' prices. if you wanted a cotton shirt like that now, you'd have to find a high end brand,, and pay from ?$200. for a 'cheap' price up to Lord Knows what. All shoes were leather.
Is there a video about a Natural style icon ?
Yes, the one about Jane Birkin.
@@trixi1608 thank youu💞
I couldn't stop laughing when you said she had "a couple of tits on top." So hilarious. I had to remind and listen again because I thought I heard it wrong. So funny. haha
