    Hi All! Miss you all! More videos coming soon. Still busy with some big projects. I promise it will pay off. 😊💜
    ♦️Quick disclaimer: This Skin Brightening Body Butter was created to help inhibit the "OVER PRODUCTION" of melanin resulting in hyperpigmentation, dark spots, age spots, blemishes, scars & more. Kojic Acid effectively lightens skin for the purpose of "reducing" the appearance of these conditions. This Skin Brightening Body Butter was created with the following functions in mind:
    - Effectively lightening stubborn dark spots and age spots
    - Improving the texture of dry, cracked skin
    - Even skin tone
    - Gradually reducing even the worse hyperpigmentation
    *This butter is in no way meant to lighten, whiten, bleach, or change skin tone. I hope this helps ✨💜

    I am so glad that I found your you tube channel. I am new to all of these types of mixtures but have been making my own DIY oils for skin and hair for years. I suffer from Melasma, and I love swimming for exercise which has made it EXPLODE again no matter how much sunscreen I use!
    So, I have been researching this type of DIY for skin lightening for my scars on my body (from Diabetes) and my face for Melasma. For me, not knowing much about this, I found it frustrating! Everyone says something different...
    {Kojic Acid dissolves in water, NOT oil... dissolves in oil, NOT water... don't mix with Vitamin C (yet I find products made by reputable companies with both in the serum).}
    I found it frustrating also to understand... if I dissolve Kojic Acid in water (as recommended), then what is going to happen when I mix that solution into my water based lotion? It is going to be completely liquidy and watery!
    And then I saw my organic mango butter in my bathroom (which I never use because I have SOOO many oils that I use that are fast to apply!).
    And after hours and hours of research for weeks, I did a google search and YOUR video came up!
    THANK GOD FOR YOU!!!
    I think my problem is solved!
    I am going to follow your instructions... (although I don't have all the great supplies you have or even a mixer at this time!) and
    use the Kojic Acid, Alpha Arbutin, and Glycerin that I just purchased along with my mango butter, coconut oil, vitamin e (capsules), and favorite essential oils so that I can AVOID the TOO watery issue or doesn't properly dissolve in oil and then lotion issue! This SHOULD also take my hard, firm mango butter and make it soft and easy to apply!
    I will point out that you are VERY knowledgeable and very pleasant to listen to! I found other videos to be boring or the accent too strong.
    But, if I may make one suggestion... educating people as you go would also be good! Certain chemicals should not be mixed with others as they change the PH balance, AND strong chemicals such as Kojic Acid should not be used longer than 3 months.
    This is probably information that I am sure you know, but for those who don't... YOU could be an amazing educator in these areas as you make your beautiful products!
    Also, would you be willing to research and make a video on exfoliating AHA's? I used to get a discount on products sold in dermatologist's offices from a doctor friend. I love using Lactic Acid 10% followed by Fruit Acid 7.5% each week. I am now trying to make my own.🤣

    • @YayaDIYCreations
      @YayaDIYCreations  3 роки тому +4

      Color change can occur for various reasons. Oxidation, exposure to bacteria, etc. There is no way to know exactly without testing it. To troubleshoot, make sure you use vitamin e to slow down or prevent oxidation.
      Also, make sure you are using distilled water.
      Sterilize your work area and working equipment.
      The color can also occur from certain essential oils. Some essential oils can turn your product purple, pink, even yellow. Double check your ingredients .
      Color change is not always extremely bad, but it is worth the investigation. Especially if it’s not the color you are going for. I hope this helps. 💜💜💜

      It depends on your skin type. Cocoa butter is low on the comedogenic scale, but it still has some chance of clogging pores. Some people are also cautions about coconut oil on the face and scalp. Try omitting the cocoa butter and replacing the coconut oil to use it on your face. Especially if you have sensitive skin or are prone to acne or breakouts. I formulated this butter for the body though. I hope this helps 😊💜

      @cristianohenry9076 3 роки тому +1

      1g=1%

    • @richrosegold610
      @richrosegold610 Рік тому

      You have to multiply the percentages by the batch size you're trying to make. For instance, if you were to make a 500g batch of body butter, but you need 23% of shea butter, then you would calculate (500 × 0.23= 115). This means that you would need 115g of shea butter in your 500g batch. You also always want your percentages to add up to and not go beyond 100%. So if 23% of your 500g batch is 115g, then the rest of your batch should be 385g, which is 77% of your 500g batch.

      You would not need preservative for this since there was no water added nor will be in contact with water🤗

      A great broad spectrum preservative I'd Liquid Germall Plus. Optiphen Plus is another one.

      In the description box, she said if u can avoid getting water in it, no u don’t need to add a preservative. If you’re selling it I would say yes so in case water does get in it, it doesn’t grow mold & stuff

      Jojoba oil, the oil that most resembles our natural body oil (sebum).
