please I have a question, I am checking if did the carrot seed oil already? For I can wait for that. Thanks for All the great lessons you are giving us for free. God bless you
I’m looking to use shea butter and tallow can I use these and I also want to pipe whip my body butter would this be possible and I’m sorry one last question is can I use a different preservative I currently have optiphen + and germall + would either of these work?
Yes you can use both shea butter and tallow! The formula is also thick enough to pipe as well. I use optiphen as a preservative! Germall works good as well! ☺️
@@bettergrowth_ thank you I will use this recipe from you and just use tallow and shea butter so with it being 20% just do 10% tallow and 10% shea?❤️ I believe it will be great ❤️ which preservative do you you think would work better and what %
If I were to add active ingredients like alpha arbutin or lactic acid, do I have to remove the percentage of active ingredients from the percentage of water or how do I add those in the formula?
I wonder if it's possible to replace the total volume of water by the aloe vera? I look forward to emulsify the body butter with another ingredients. Formula would be cheaper.... you see?
@@bettergrowth_ I nailed it with a lavender body butter. Perfect texture exactly what I was looking for. Used your recipe. Will use this recipe going forward. I used my immersion blender instead of the whisk since I felt the mixer was incorporating too much air. Everything was perfect 👍🏾. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
This is a great video! Question tho...all i have on hand at the moment is glyceryl stearate S/E. Is the gum, stearic acid and cetearyl alcohol necessary?
Great video!! I learned in making natural products beeswax is not an option as an emulsifier! Lol! I make anhydrous body butters but people are still wanting me to ship them over the summer.....this is a great switch for the hot months!! Thanks!! ~jc

Blessings to you for sharing when you didn’t have to
You’re welcome ☺️
For the glyceryl stearate can emulsifying wax nf be a substitute? What about preservative being water is included?
You can use emulsifying Nf and the preservative is 1%
love your videos thanks❤ but the formule is not 100% its 96% or is the 4% the fragance
please I have a question, I am checking if did the carrot seed oil already? For I can wait for that. Thanks for All the great lessons you are giving us for free. God bless you
I found vegetable glycerin with rose water I think it's going to be an amazing add in 🎉🎉
Wow that’s a great idea…the rose will give it a lovely light sent ☺️
The texture looks great but it looks like it needs more oils to be able to spread on the skin easily
Yes, that would definitely loosen up the texture. Let me know how that turns out.
Kindly share how to make lipgloss
I absolutely love how you teach! New subscriber here ✋🏼😊
Yesssss Thanks for joining!!!
Do you use xanthan gum soft or just regular
I use soft.
Can you use this formula to make lip scrub with same measurements
What should be the percentages of sugar
That's not a bad idea. I would add sugar at 50% of the total body weight of the product!
I have been enjoying your channel. Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge.

Can marshmallow root tea be used as the water in mulsified body butter?
Yes, you can! 😊 That's a great way to get more benefits from the product.
I love this, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. At what stage can we add either niacinamide, hyaluronic acid or dimethicone? Thanks.
Thanks for watching 💕. You would add those in during the water phase. They are water soluble ingredients. ☺️
@@bettergrowth_ Thanks queen.
You’re welcome ☺️
Can I use Btms 50 as the primary emulsifier?
Yes you can!
Thank you so much for this spreadsheet it is a game changer for my start up!
Yay!! I'm glad to hear that!!☺️🫶🏾
If I were to add active ingredients like alpha arbutin or lactic acid, do I have to remove the percentage of active ingredients from the percentage of water or how do I add those in the formula?
Good question! You would add that to the water phase. I would take 1 or 2% from the water to add the activities you mentioned.
What preservative did you use?
Preservative ECO
@@bettergrowth_ where can you purchase this?
Wholesale supplies plus or any skincare bulk site…..even Amazon.
I love this video just what I needed!
Yes!! Right on time! I love that!! ☺️
Can I use btms instead of glyceryl stearate SE? I can't find it in my country
Yes you definitely can!
Oh ok mam don't worry i m waiting for your recipe ❤❤❤mam

Aloe Vera gel or water?
@bettergrowth_ aloe vera gel. I would mix it before adding it To the mixture. Will it work ?
I honestly don’t think so
@@bettergrowth_ ok... I Will try then and tell you.
Please do you might be on to something☺️
Can i use guar gum if i don't have xanthan gum?
Yes that would work great!
Share with easy herb 🌿 and Creamy silky texture
Ok mam❤❤❤
Hi lovely video
Quick question
When mixing the water into the oil phase, do both of them have to be hot
Generally, temperatures between 158°F to 176°F are common for heating both the water and oil phases before mixing.
@@bettergrowth_ thank you

@bettergrowth_ Thank you very much
God bless you 🙏
Thank you
Your welcome 😄
I only have emulsifying wax nf so how much percentage to use?
I would test 9% to replace the stearic acid and Cetearyl alcohol.
Great lesson love from India
I appreciate you! Thank you! ☺️
@@bettergrowth_ ❤️
I have all my supplies! Going to try this tomorrow yayyyyy 😊 is it a reason for learning purposes that it applied kind of soapy?
Awesome let me know how it turns out. ☺️💕 I think that it's the emulsifying wax that gives it that look.
Do emulsified butters need to be made in small batches?
They can be made in large batches as well.
@@bettergrowth_ can the be piped?
This is a great video! Question tho...all i have on hand at the moment is glyceryl stearate S/E. Is the gum, stearic acid and cetearyl alcohol necessary?
It's not necessary but it does help with viscosity or texture enhancement.
such a great video. Can’t wait to try this!!!

Does steric acid have alcohol in it?
No, stearic acid does not contain alcohol. It is a fatty acid, specifically a long-chain saturated carboxylic acid.
Unfortunately nothing is melt-proof in AZ during summer 😢
I’m in Texas so I get it 😂 That’s why this is emulsified. A great formula for hot climates and summertime.

Yes!! So many people think beeswax is an emulsifier. You will be very disappointed lol! But this is a great option for the summer!
i cant dowload the formula! i dont know what is happening :(
What formula?
I wish i had all the ingredients so i could start making my stuff 😢 sigh
Please why didn't you heat the water phase.
I almost certain I did
Am I missing something. The formula added up to 94%??
It's 96%. I left room for fragrance at 4%. If you don't want fragrance just add the 4% to the oil in the formula.
❤
my products keep separating
What emulsifier are you using?
What did you substitute?
Are you able to use btms 50 or Ritamulse SCG
You can use BTMS 50
Thanks
