i dont have a problem with it but i hope they made another convenient just as fast or faster way to get to the camera... the double tap of the home button was probably the most used feature for me

Samsung has not been innovative, because they have re-created the same model of the Samsung with a couple of tweaks every year. Cheaper (in quality) models but with more tweaks that were based off Apple. Weaker glass, exploding phones, crap camera quality, awfully uncreative etc. I don't think I need to continue, you get my point.

Mostly because of improved water resistance and a cleaner look which allows for a larger display. Phones have been getting boring so the engineers are thinking outside the box.

Smartphones are getting bigger (way too big) while laptops are getting smaller. Stop making phones bigger! Soon they will replace our tablets. They won't fit in pockets. Just keep phones at a maximum size of 5.5 inches with small bezels.
Update: Since there are some people who like big smartphones, there should be some phones that are bigger than 5.5 inches. I think the maximum for big phones should be about six inches. However, MOST phones should be at a maximum of 5.5 inches.

Jonathan Breyer That is not true. They are getting way to big. For example, the iPhone used to be at 4 inches. That is way to small. But when they increased the size, they didn't make the bezels smaller. So, the overall footprint of the phone got bigger. What you are saying is the case only for Samsung phones, but not all phones.

u lll get used to it extremely fast I have my 7egde n n just got my lg v20 I use both cells.n I got use to the back in 1 day n now when I use my 7edge which I use more often I wish it was on the back .way better position than the front.also the v20 scanner is always on u don't hafto click on the bottom to be able to unlock it

I have to say, but that fingerprint scanner placement is terrible. All its going to do is make your camera full of fingerprints. I feel like they are putting the fingerprint scanner in an inconvenient place so that you are kind of forced to use the iris scanner.

57 savage I actually have a phone that has it under the camera and I hate it lol.... I'm always accidently pressing it with my palm and locking my phone after so many times of it.... I like it better smaller and next to the camera that way you touch it when you mean to touch and not when you dont

I upgraded to the S7 Edge last year at Launch. Ive been more than happy. Do I miss an iPhone?? Eh.. Not really to be honest, I was a massive Apple Fan and I feel the iPhone 7 is a good phone but IOS is stale. It's in great need of a refresh, The reason. for my Comments here is "say what you want about Siri, it's much more usable when driving Eg: Composing a text or reading Texts and Notifications. 9 out of 10 times "ok Google" doesn't work.
I rather just stay with my s7 then that S8

The difference is that the s7 is an improvement of the s6, same like how the 6s is supposed to be an improvement of the 6. The 7 is probably the first time apple did not make a major design change to a generation of iphone, and while the design is iconic, i think its stupid how a 5,5 inch ip7 plus is about the same size as a mate 9 with a 5.9 inch screen.
I think the iphone 8 would look amazing, and also have amazing software, however i wont get it because it will be too expensive, and one of the main reason why i use android is the customizability. I cant live without my fleksy keyboard, nova launcher and the more conveniently placed back button.
