I think Ryan doesn't want to admit that he's just not into Clara. I feel like he needs someone with more depth and common interests. Clara just isn't as deep as he probably needs.
I heard someone describe him as a sapiosexual (i.e., a person who is sexually attracted to a person who shows intelligence and/or expresses their intellectual interests) --- I think whatever it is he has to tell her. This withholding of his needs/wants is devastating to watch
She is physically attractive to him but she is not the type of person that he would have choosen. I don't know why the experts don't look into some of this stuff.
Ryan is a practicing Christian so why would they match him with someone that dislikes organization religion and I think she might have said that she is an atheist.
Ryan is social justice active and motivated and Clara has a totally different basis for her life.
I also think that his parents were expecting someone black. Cuz at the wedding they " kindly" said that she was not what they were expecting but that they would support Ryan.
Also Clara dosen't like any intellectual conversation.

When Melissa mentioned Erik being the one that wants all the power, she is right. It made me think of one of the earlier episodes when he told her she didn't have to work. He wanted her to be a SAHM basically. She shut that down too, and said she was fine with working.

I think Erik is stable with traditional family values. I don't see anything wrong with that, I love being a SAHM. Virginia is not ready to settle down on any level she's into drinking and partying and expects to live single in her marriage. They really arent a good match at all.

I think they have many other issues that need to be worked out before this can be resolved. Chris continues to be trifling. That conversation did not need to escalate to what it became and I feel he did it on purpose to end the relationship. He makes everything her fault and refuses to take accountability.

My impression of what Hayley is doing is that she's very much over it but she doesn't want to be the reason it's not working. No not at all. I've been in Hayley' situation of having to reject a nice guy because the attraction just wasnt growing. I couldn't imagine the situation being amplified by being married and followed daily by cameras. Hayley really wants this to work but she can't bring herself to like Jacob, with him doing things to make him appear even more unattractive and her dislike for him to grown. I will say though to Melissa's point I think she thinks she's trier harder than she actually is, but I really do believe her intentions are pure and ish just aint working out. I feel really bad for her...for the both of them

I think because of Virginia's drinking and partying, her maturity gets overlooked. But the fact that she recognized and removed herself from her parents toxic relationship, goes to show she is mature. Also, I think she sees a lot of her father in Eric in terms of his views and behaviour, she will fight back. Good for her for standing her ground and not be pushed over. I don't see them making to 6 months of marriage
Clara seems to be so focused on how Ryan feels about her but can anyone recall her expressing how she feels towards him? I don’t think we are getting an accurate depiction of their relationship.
Yeah, I'm not liking how they (the editors and producers) are editing those two to seem as if Clara is talking so much to the point that it appears that Ryan is exhausted to listen. It takes up so much of their screen time and it's already apparent to us that Ryan is at least a good listener. No need to solely focus on the parts where he isn't shining in the listening department (but then again, there could be a reason the producers are so focused on showing Clara and Ryan's communication) --- And if he was a do-er just as much a listener, I believe Clara would be over the moon. She's just waiting to express it before being seen jumping in the deep end of the feelings pool.
I believe it’s clear that she is in love with Ryan. Whenever they have the girl’s outing, she’s always saying how he’s the perfect match. Her only complaint is the lack of sex and that he has not said that he loves her.

@@Noquarious Yes! They are showing too many awkward moments that it’s overshadowing their progression of the relationship. For her to be already emotionally invested, I’d imagine there are many sweet and vulnerable moments that we just aren’t seeing.

Brianna and Vincent aren’t having hard convos because she’s walking on eggshells, trying not to trigger his insecurities. When Brianna told vinny “we seem to be able to tackle our issues with no problem” his face said “hold my beer” lol... Vodka doesn’t want to move in with Erik because he’s controlling and she knows that’ll be the end of her independence, if she gives up the biggest thing, SHES in control of (her apartment).
He snaps when he’s challenged and threatens the future of their marriage every time. She’s smart not to give her apartment up right now. Chris was ALWAYS gonna go back to divorce, he just gave Paige a little of what she wanted, so he can say he tried. The missed phone calls was his way out. He was waiting for her to drop the ball, so he can flip it on her, to say she’s not serious. She should have believed him the first time. We’re gonna trade Paige for Chelsea Handler at this point.. Clara is starved for loved and Ryan simply wants to wait until decision day, before he says I love you or has sex. It’s respectful in my eyes. He doesn’t want to have sex with her, only to divorce in 8 weeks, that’ll humiliate her. She’s probably told him enough about her past and doesn’t want to be the same as the guys before him. Hailey is trying, but the chemistry isn’t there. She can’t move past it and Jacob is over it. He deserves better, she should just be honest and stop selling him hope.. It’s just not gonna work.

Lol i feel you but we gotta remember they are being filmed. And all of that footage is being edited in post production. There’s bound to be some lulls in their conversation, and the producers can purposely include them to make it seem “awkward”
@@SILK97 I def think the producers edit stuff together--particularly after they watched their wedding video and there was nothing said. I'm an editor and I can tell they were splicing and replaying certain clips to make it look extra dry. Producers are probably creating a narrative but their body language still says that they're not connecting to me.

Y’all just put me onto a different perspective of the Eric and Virginia Conversation I thought that he was basically trying to be like you are in an apartment I am in a house why the hell would you stay in your apartment and pay rent when I have a whole house that you don’t have to pay rent in well I do definitely get the fact that she was basically trying to stand her ground and say no I don’t wanna live with you I want something that is ours not yours... but now that I think about it he seemed like he was trying to say temporarily live in my house until we get can get something that’s ours ... but that might eventually ended up being a trap to get her to stay with him ultimately lol 😂

Although I see what they are saying, her solution isn't exactly better. You can't project that he MIGHT not sell his house if she moves in. His solution actually is the smarter one in my opinion. Who knows how long it would take him to sell his house. They would be wasting money on rent and a mortgage if they got a new apartment together. His delivery is bad as usual but I think people overlook that she doesn't really compromise either and just wants to live like she is still single.
