This has been a one of the most memorable weeks of our lives. Getting to meet so many friends at the Annapolis Boat Show, literally had us in tears. What an incredible experience. Thank you so much to all of you who came by, said hi, stopped us along the way. And for being here.

Here's what we think we know about her past. Keep in mind we bought her at auction without ever meeting the owner! The owner was sailing along and ran aground - hard. Hard enough that the keel pivoted and pushed the aft end up into the hull. This force cracked the internal grid in several places and broke a portion of the grid free from hull. At some point an inspection was done, insurance was called and decisions were made. See • We Buy a SALVAGE SAILB... for how we came to own her!

Yes, they are a really great couple. What you appreciate from both couples is their overwhelming optimism towards life. In spite of the challenges nothing can get them down. Both couples pull together to solve some pretty difficult problems. It’s an allegory for life. They succeed in doing things because of their attitude towards life. Not moaning and groaning about a problem but treating it as a challenge and a game. I would much rather watch these guys than much of the rubbish on TV. They are to be commended for showing us how it’s done. Life.

I said this to Collin at the boatshow and it applies to you as well. You guys give us all hope for the future. Most of your generation, not all, can't screw in a light bulb without Googling how-to. You both, on the other hand, are developing skills that will serve you for the rest of your lives well beyond boating. 👏👏👏
I would have loved to attend the boat show but it is very difficult for Canadians to travel presently. 100% you keep us working towards our dream - as I am working towards getting a 43 ft ketch sailboat.
I was very surprised when you said Duca and Roberta were staying onboard with you (after they stayed onboard Parlay Revival in Panama) and even more surprised when Nat and James showed up! They are all great people and I have been watching them much longer than you have been posting videos! I don't know how all my favourites got to know each other! It's crazy! Still smiling.

Outstanding post! So happy that you had Duca & Roberta stay with you kids! I have been a patron of there’s since they first bought their boat and loved being able, in a small way, to help them out. They have done an amazing transformation of “ ODD” and they should be very proud of their efforts.
Now you two took on a “broken” boat rebuild and put “ EVA” back into shape that any sailor would be proud to call their own! The fact that you did a complete keel and bottom refit was amazing to watch. So much grinding, so much Fiberglasing and then then putting everything back into its place, gave all of your subscribers the opportunity to view just how complex a boat can be. Now, hopefully, we can continue to watch All of you enjoy the fruits of your labors!

My 2 favourite UA-cam shows together I can't believe it.
Over the last 2 years we have been in lockdown off again on again, to reinforce what you were saying Jade Brett Roberta and Duca your videos were our legs, arms, ears and eyes. They helped us keep some normality in our lives when we could not travel on even catch up with family close by, things are getting back to normal here in Australia.

When you two started your channel and invited us to take part in your lives, you immediately became family to all of us all over the world. We watch your episodes on the edge of our seats. We laugh and cry right along with you. While there isn't room on your beautiful boat for all of us, we are there with you 100%. Each and every one of us. Sailing like you do, has been a lifelong ambition ever since I bought my 11' "Super Scamper" from a local department store some 50 plus years ago. I still have the boat and the dream, though I don't see the adventures happening for me beyond what I have. I love you guys, keep living your dream and sharing as much as you will, life is too short. Nice mention of the impact you have on others. Great that you hooked up with Duca and Roberta as well. I love their rebuild videos as well. All of you have helped many of us become inspired to get back into boating. Even in our 60’s it seems possible.

Great respect for that. The idea to meet you UA-camrs at a boatshow is great. I was on vacation this year just before meeting Ran 2.
However, the three of them called into a port which was too far away from our vacation spot.
I am looking forward to following your journey. You and especially you Jade don`t have to apologize for showing emotions, that only makes you more personable.
I would have loved to get to know you guys, but with 6357 kilometers (3950mi) it was too far.

In twenty six years since my last schooner sail with my now once wife of 30 years and two grown kids out on their own after college.. I really miss sailing and the 6 week long schooner trips in the Penobscot Bay back in the 1980's and one in 96' to celebrate our 10 year marriage recommitment .. nothing but a two hour very welcome and enjoyed trip from dock to bay.. several long tacks and back to the Camden dock .. no sailing.. So I, at 69 years old alone, fighting 4th degree cancer very well if seems, I really am living with you two and 3 other sailing couples or growing families and two solo guy sailor video voyagers.. so thank you for sharing your life on the dreamy seas and I wish you every success in wherever your future course takes you. I think each of you are marvelous caring sharing beautiful people.
Well I enjoyed seeing you all in real life even if I did not wait in line to talk to you. The last year was better with watching you dream and struggle and succeed. I look forward to more sailing adventures.
Oh sigh...I did not get to come to the boat show because I was an integral part of a wedding this weekend. Well some day I may meet you guys and many others at some other boat show. You hosted odd life and Hakuna. I love the Brazilians! Their point of view and lifestyle is interesting along with their sailing. We love you because you are who you are. You let us into your lives and add to each of ours. Jade, all this time I thought you were the organizer🤓. Brett’s ability to retain so much of what he learned by his shopping I invaluable. I am a reader and when I finished my check ride of taking the boat out, raising the sails, tacking, gybing and all the other stuff you go through to get certified, the instructor asked me how many years I had been sailing. That was actually the first time I had ever been on a sailboat. I had read about it for a long time and things just stuck in my mind. I really enjoyed seeing his jaw drop when I convinced him I was not kidding. See, you brought another great memory back for me. Thank you. Keep on doing what you are doing and you will keep on getting what you are getting. Sorry I’m so verbose.

You have changed my life..I'm a disabled person who used to live an active life on the ocean sailing, scuba diving,exploring Florida's aquifer, building experimental air craft, flying ultralights, Skydiving, etc. the list is long...Please believe me your adventures keep me going...Keep sharing. You have become part of my family...Its hard to explain..

Wow! I have been following Duca and Roberta through their efforts restoring their boat. Too bad they didn't meet up with Brett and Jade at Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island because there are a lot of Portuguese speaking people and food in that area and they would feel right at home.

The beginning of the episode, this has become a new form of entertainment/information. I find myself in a situation where I never thought I would be, as a full-time caregiver to my wife who has late stage dementia and my mother who has advanced COPD, and both are home/bed bound. So for me it is living vicariously through you guys. I spent 10 years as a SCUBA instructor as a side job, because I love the ocean but have not been able to be there for the past three years. So UA-cam has given us a place to fine tune our entertainment experience and spend time somewhere we enjoy instead of some fantasy that someone makes up. You guys are the true reality TV. I have tried to imagine the work that goes into the production and I can’t even wrap my head around it. I know with some of the channels I see younger people growing into this genre and having kids and traveling and filming and not being able to take a break, it has to be all consuming. Well enough of my rant, I appreciate you guys Jade it always seems real with your story telling and the work that both of you do is crazy so looking forward to seeing you guys on the tube.
