I lived in Billericay from when I was 7 (1968) to the age of 22 (1983) when I moved to Southend-on-Sea. Lovely film of a lovely town! Everyone thinks that Essex is flat - maybe they should try walking up Hillside Road every day for school and then work... 🥵
Billericay is certainly the nicest part of Basildon to live in, however I cannot believe you completely missed the quaint High Street to trawl around the South Green boring housing estates.
@@danielfriar3939 Billericay comes under Basildon Borough Council, therefore it is part of Basildon, I recall, in the 1960s the council offices for the borough were in Chapel Street, not Basildon.

I was born in billericay,lived in green's farm lane. Emerated to Australia in 1970. Heart still belongs in England 🇬🇧

Billericay isn’t Basildon though. It’s under a Borough but I wouldn’t class as the same place.

Once upon a time, Basildon was part of Billericay, and came under the control of Billericay council.
