Earthquake: The Big One A Universe of Cinemagic Universal Studios Hollywood (1992)

- The Earthquake event is an 8.3 earthquake inside a soundstage, designed to make it look like a San Francisco subway station. They have a hot set; a hot set is a stage in which various props stay in use and cannot be moved. The attraction features a gimbal that allows it to shake the tram, a burning gasoline truck that collapses through the roof, fire and spark effects, a derailing subway train, and a flood of 60,000 gallons of water. The attraction resets itself within just 15 seconds to prepare itself for the next tram of guests.
The attraction has been closed twice due to real earthquakes: October 17, 1989 following the Loma Prieta tremblor in Northern California (7 months after the attraction opened) and on June 28, 1992, resulting in a closure for 24 hours for safety checks.
Earthquake: The Big One was built in 1988, and replaced the Tower of London set which stood on the spot. A fictitious soundstage "50" was constructed for the attraction

One of my all time favorite attractions alongside Disney's Matterhorn and Tower of Terror and Universal's Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.
Earthquake The Big One would also be a movie that should take place in San Francisco and seeing the BART rolls off the tracks and the gasoline truck going down into the Subway station and burst into flames
There movies that include the set:
1. Beverly Hills Cop 3: Alien Attack.
2. The Great Los Angeles Earthquake: a flash flood going through the subway station.
I missed the original version of this attraction.😢
I think the train stripes should be blue
The truck looks like Optimus prime
First
If Im not mistaken, JOHN FORSYTHE is the voice narrator of this video!!!
Yes, it's in the video description. "Excerpt from A Universe of Cinemagic Universal Studios Hollywood Souvenir Video (1992), starring John Forsythe."
