I agree in principle, however you also need to realize that many people are terrified of Huberman. He has a huge platform and obviously anyone who comes forward will face harassment. Scott! I read the article and found it damning, as any reasonable person would. However, when I read those comments you mentioned - I immediately assumed them to be trolls. Shocked and embarrassed you seem to lack the same eye for scrutiny, after all you’re an investigative journalist…. This is embarrassing Scott. A journalist looks at the evidence available and tries to interpret it. These comments on their own are nothing, but in the context of everything could be part of the pattern. I noted that very clearly in video.

I had hoped you weren't really part of the machine Scott, but if you're feeling "compelled" to chime in on something pushed by the NY Magazine then you've lost me. Their is on their own, they've lied so often that they have to put in a lot of dollars to get trust back and they need to be on an island. DO NOT, if you value your credibility, use them as a reference for what might be a valuable story for your content.
I know nothing of the details of allegations. However, it sounded like he was very straightforward about his expectations in a relationship and kinks. That is actually commendable and there is no reason to kink shame. I watched a couple of his podcasts and they were quite good. I do have a science background so generally I know if someone is full of BS. Huberman really gave the impression that his assertions were backed by evidence.
Nothing wrong with his kinks, the man needed to be honest, then get consent, then communicate every time he added a new partner, then again getting their consent before he proceeded to share everyone's biology.

I'm debating whether or not I will for a few reasons: first I know what he said, but there are women who can say it better and with more public credibility. Second, talking about other parts of his story -- bad science, conflicts of interest etc -- may have more sway with his fanbase who clearly do not like women and see his troubling sexual attitudes as something to emulate.

A journalist looks at the evidence available and tries to interpret it. These comments on their own are nothing, but in the context of everything could be part of the pattern. I noted that very clearly in video.

I know nothing of the details of allegations. However, it sounded like he was very straightforward about his expectations in a relationship and kinks. That is actually commendable and there is no reason to kink shame. I watched a couple of his podcasts and they were quite good. I do have a science background so generally I know if someone is full of BS. Huberman really gave the impression that his assertions were backed by evidence.
Nothing wrong with his kinks, the man needed to be honest, then get consent, then communicate every time he added a new partner, then again getting their consent before he proceeded to share everyone's biology.

What does his scientific knowledge have to do with his sex life? I have noticed a pattern in the manner in which anyone who talks outside of the protocolarie lines is attacked by searching into their sexual lives and creating a picture where they look evil. The question is, in terms of sexual behaviour, who conducts themselves in a manner that, if exposed, would look normal? I'm debating whether or not I will for a few reasons: first I know what he said, but there are women who can say it better and with more public credibility. Second, talking about other parts of his story -- bad science, conflicts of interest etc -- may have more sway with his fanbase who clearly do not like women and see his troubling sexual attitudes as something to emulate.
