Wow!! What a home, designers today wallpaper the ceilings. The kitchen is fabulous, looks very similar to lacquer which is popular today. A testament to how the styles always return. What a special video, thank you!
So did my Dad . I understand Satchmo always called himself Louis . My belief is anglos called him louie to signify acceptance and admiration , although folks trying to maintain racial strife would have insisted it was to be disrespectful not calling him by his given name .I prefer to think positive as I believe most folks are decent . I love Duke Ellington too .
We are going to visit this museum as soon as it's open again!!
A bit of history!
This was wonderful, I lived in this neighborhood.
I am floored thank you Open House!
What a great show.
Armstrong was such a kind, down to earth man.
Wonderful. Very appropriate as it is Carnival Time.
I LOOOOOOOVE the kitchen!!!

Super video! 😀🔥 I love watching your videos! 😃
Crazy, but I've never heard him called "Louis". My dad always said, "Loo-ey".
