and was wondering if it's possible to add more premium sounds, like VST Keyscape? Also, can I use a Korg NanoKontrol 2 with it? If so, I’d really appreciate it if you could point me toward any resources-whether articles or videos-where I can learn more.
How does the CLP-795GP compare to playing on a real grand piano when you're _not_ wearing headphones? I can't imagine it sounds as good as a real 9-foot concert grand - but how noticeable is the difference?
I am still confused about the volume control for this piano. How load should the volume turned up to match up the real acoustic piano? Can anyone help with my question?
Thanks for this helpful video. May I ask how frequent Yamaha introduces new editions of the Clavinova CLP-GP? I thought the previous edition (the CLP 765GP) was only introduced only few years ago. I wouldn't want to purchase this new CLP-795 only to have a new edition introduced by Yamaha few years down the road? Thank you.
Hello, nice job on this video. I own a CLP 785 and I'm wondering how to store 'presets', as in maybe I want to jump from Bosendorfer straight to Marimba. I can't seem to find it in the manual! Thanks.
how easy is it to get the player piano music from Yahmaha? is there a large selection and what does it cost , I would buy a piano for that reason as I do not play myself, thank you
Good afternoon sir, I forgot to ask you about something, I live in Cairo and when I bought the clp 795 gp from cairo it came with a very small adjustable bench inside the box. But when I see videos for people who bought the clp 795 I noticed that they are sitting on a comfortable, wide and big yamaha bench!!!! So are there two kinds of benches that comes with the clp 795 piano? thanks in advance.
In the UK, there is not a specific bench for the Yamaha CLP-795GP. At ePianos we have a large selection to choose from here: www.epianos.co.uk/benches-stools/
Hi. Would I be able to use this piano in a large hall? Would 100% volume be as loud as a baby grand? Also could I mic it up, sending the sound through speakers whilst using the piano's speakers as a monitor? Answers to these would be really useful!
Thank you for the video, I find all of them very helpful as I start my piano journey. Based on your review of the P515 I decided this would be my starting point, and I do not regret this purchase. After watching your recent video playing the 795 GP, I was very impressed with the overall sound whilst listening on headphones. My basic questions is, does the P515 and the 795GP have the same patches for the CFX etc. and is the sound engine the same, and will I notice the difference if only listening on headphones. thanking you in advance
Thanks, Keith. You're welcome. Although P515 also offers the CFX and Bosendorfer samples, the difference when playing through headphones would certainly be noticed compared to the CLP-795GP. This is mainly because of the inclusion of the 'Grand Expression Modelling' technology on CLP- 795GP that really allows you to colour the sound with your inputs as you would on a 'real' grand piano. P515 is a phenomenally good portable piano for its price, but it's in a different league to CLP-795GP in my opinion. Hope that helps! Chris
Is there any way to assign another voice to one of the pedals so while playing you can start and stop the extra voice. Like piano plus strings while playing the piano voice and when you want to add some strings or Some other voice in combination. Or do I need to get a auxiliary foot switch.? Thank you

Good evening sir, I just wanted to ask why are some clp 795 pianos have a clavinova logo side and some clp 795 pianos don't have this logo? Is the logo sold separately? Thanks in advance 🙏
Hi there. It turns out that the 'Yamaha Clavinova' logos on the sides of this particular model were added for display purposes. Brand new CLP-795GPs will not have them but will have the large YAMAHA logo on the front, plus the Clavinova one below the touchpanel. Hope that helps.

Simply Astonishing!!
What are the differences between the CLP 795 and the CLP 765? I’m wondering if gett 795 is worth the price tag.

Could you please describe the full Bluetooth MIDI capability of this instrument, e.g. as it relates to real-time MIDI in/out/thru? Thanks.

@@ePianoscouk That is a relief as I thought the side logos were rather tacky on an otherwise spectacular looking instrument!
😊👍
