Ha ha ha. I hooked up to one the same way once. The kid decided to call me an idiot in front of his girlfriend. I pointed out I wasn't the one stuck. He didn't like that comment. Then he wanted to try the fight intimidation tactic. Silly boy. So I unhooked and drove away knowing we were the only one big enough for the job. Two hours later I was out on another call and he was still there. Stopped on my way back. The girlfriend left him and I bumped my price up. I think in all the years I drove he was the only meatball I ever came across. Ironically his dad stopped in later and thank me for setting his son straight. I dropped the price back down.
New breed of driver. Surprised he didn’t blame the tow truck driver for getting stuck. No respect. No manners. Great job TOW TRUCK DRIVER at least your professionalism showed.
Hi, I liked this video. I live in Kenya and drive a Mercedes Benz 3340, Actros 6x4s articulated semi trailer and ferry around soft drink beverages. I was amazed by your use of remotes to operate your magnificent tow rig. I watched whole video. When you come to Kenya I would like to show you around.. Paul, Nairobi Kenya.
before retiring I had the LA to Coachella run. midnight start, every once in a while I would see some tractors further east on the dirt road STUCK. great videos glad I came across them.
Oh no the only puddle in that whole dry region is right where you need to drag your chain !!.. Awesome video. You can feel like a Boss driving that awesome truck :)
You always surprise me with your patients on these professional truck driver ! Keep up the good work I know your dad is proud of you I know I am stay safe
Here's a hack that sometimes works on desert sand especially real fine and dusty sand: pour water on the sand and put diferentials on, and then try to roll out. Sometimes the water will turn the sand into like a hard clay almost like concrete.
Nice rig brother. I drove tankers out in the West Texas oil field and I always hated when we would go help someone that was stuck and they would be on the phone sitting in their truck instead of helping. We used to always have chains on side of our water tankers cause there was always someone stuck in the desert when it rained and got muddy. Even good drivers that I personally know that were driving for many many years would get stuck. It could happen to anyone. I've never seen a rig like yours in person and hope I never have to call one but that's a really nice rig.
Fantastic video and double fantastic teaching by the example! Good job Trent! Your totally positive attitude shows me, how a real Professional should be. Salúdos desde NC.
Seeing your truck and outfitting of the truck makes me happy. You are a real pro! Seeing that other guy and his "truck" makes me kind of sad. He has no interest at all in his truck and in what you're doing. He probably still das not have the slightest idea of what went wrong. Just a matter of time and it will happend again. Here in Western Europe it's the same story, we have real truckers, those who have a diploma in transport and live for the job and live for the equipement. And we have the people with just a drivers licence. Leads to dangerous situations.........
Is it my impression or that driver didn't want to move a muscle? xD the difference between Ron and him is huge, he even moved that rock out of the way for that driver, Ron is such a pro
Hold up your index finger, that can be the difference between getting stuck in soft sand and getting out of it successfully. Plaza Towing does a great job every time! Well done guys! :D
Another great, high-quality video JR- When you can see how deep the tire tracks are in the sand, that's exceptional quality video- I'm amazed by the drivers that don't know what the locking differential is, or even how to deploy it- Keep 'em coming kiddo, & be safe!!!
Thank you for bringing this video, and others every bit as interesting and informative as this one, to us, I very much enjoyed it! Personally I find the heavy-haul and recovery end of trucking to be very very fascinating, and I love the way you "film" and show different views from different cameras and angles so that we get the literal big picture ... very very professional! ;-)
Nice job! Impressive camera work. Kudos to the operator for even fixing the mudflap bracket-shows professionalism. Not too impressed with the driver. I would've THANKED the tow truck operator with a little more emotion. Stay safe all !
It is kind of refreshing watching Plaza handle a job with the same precision and success as Pratt - and without having to ask for the Lord's help or asking for prayers... 😏
I drive a truck just like that, with the PDL lock and the offroad switch beside it, He should NEVER have gotten stuck. When you have both of those switches clicked all the drives are basically locked together, but allow a little bit of slip. With the conditions being dry, no mud or anything, he has no excuse to be stuck.
I certainly enjoyed that video. You did make it look easy. I worked for a private tree service at one time and I Renner a time where we were working in the yard off the pavement and everything we had was stuck in the mud. Even the Ford tractor was stuck. I think the boss used his 4×4 ford pickup to get the tractor out and them we were able to grab everything else out of the mud. The ground was a little softer than we anticipated and anyway it was a bitch getting every t thing out. Long time ago.
I broke down in Nevada in the middle of the desert I helped hook up the unit to the wreaker then drove the wteaker and the full tractor and trailer to the shop. The guy offered me a job lol too bad im Canadian
The general level of driving skill has gone way down, in both the 4 wheel community, and the heavy truck industry. This driver got himself into a problem which an experienced trucker would never have gotten into. Luckily, Plaza Towing got him out of this situation, with minimal complications.
You sound like a good guy. I once worked for a scumbag down in South Fla., just above the keys. Didn't know how to treat the drivers and was a snake to the customers. Typically bad name towing company.
You never disappoint me when I watch your videos! You know what you are doing and you seem to have a heart of gold when it comes to helping people (moving that rock out of the way when you didn't have to do it). God bless you and your company. I'm just amazed! Thank you again! (And if you are single, yes, I'll marry you! ❤)

good greetings
Your calm and professional manner is inspiring. I think it helps the driver get out of his problem, and continue on his way.
It's still amazed me that a wrecker can pull that much weight like it's nothing. So cool to watch this.
This was a great video, you were very calm and took your time. Your a great employee. Good job.
I love watching competent people working 👍🏽
You are very calm and professional and allowing others to learn from you.
Thank you sir for doing a great job and helping that driver out of his situation.
I just learned something about finding a great place to hook a chain. Thanks .
Awesome job! I was in the towing industry for 20 years, I’ve been out for 12 yrs. I do miss it a lot and I enjoy watching your recovery videos.

Really nice of you. You didn't complain just came and got it done! That dude could have said thank you with his dry rude ass.
Great job very experienced I'll say thank you for the driver well done
The driver at least should say thank u for save his day
What a very professional tow truck driver. Never referred to the driver as an "idiot" not even once.
That is the cleanest tow truck I've ever seen.
I don’t want to pile on this guy but it really surprises me how some of these “truck drivers” get hired.
Calm and very professional , great work !!
After watching the show Highway Thru Hell I have found a greater respect for you guys. All are definitely unsung heroes.
Professional, patient and knowledgeable.
Love it!!! And if I was the truck driver, I would literally come out and offer some help to show my appreciation
The Driver could have at least thanked Trent. Even a hand shake would've been nice if he ever decided to get out of his truck
Thanks again Trent for a good recovery if I ever get stuck I would like for you to come out but I'm not a truck driver always stay safe

Your truck is amazingly organized! Pro on many levels.
Always like the narrative so we know what you are planning and then doing.
Man I could have used you guys today. Every tow company in this town was either unavailable or out of town. And I had a flat tire!
You're a real gentleman.
Love that paint job.Probably the best looking recovery trucks I have seen.Usually, the trucks are one colour, and just the name.
Here's a hack that sometimes works on desert sand especially real fine and dusty sand: pour water on the sand and put diferentials on, and then try to roll out. Sometimes the water will turn the sand into like a hard clay almost like concrete.
Good job getting him turned and out of there.
GREAT JOB on the rescue. I imagine that area near Palm Springs pays for that
wonderful tow truck !
Awesome job getting that driver out of his situation.
That is a badass Peterbilt rotator! 🔥
Nice tow truck dude. You know your stuff man!

I used to drive too.....Thanks for all you "tow truck drivers" do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's pretty cool watching you towl a truck out of the dirt
I remember driving passed him on Indian Avenue and seeing him out there just before his u turn attempt
Fantastic video and double fantastic teaching by the example! Good job Trent! Your totally positive attitude shows me, how a real Professional should be. Salúdos desde NC.
Excellent recovery. Well planned and excuted. Thanks for the ride. 15-May-2020
Trent makes hard work look fun!

Love the video, I did that back in 1981, it was fun, challenging and get the experience.
Good video Trent, That under reach camera was a nice angle. Keep the videos coming please.
That was excellent work, he didn't seem too appreciative? So,I'll say thanks for him.......
Very productive video you did! I'd liked how you towing company handling with truck hardships. Keep up the good work.
Hes a hard working man and he makes good money
Is it my impression or that driver didn't want to move a muscle? xD the difference between Ron and him is huge, he even moved that rock out of the way for that driver, Ron is such a pro
My name is Trent lol. Thank you for watching!😂
Can't get tired of watching your vids. Not saying if I ever got stuck but I do get a good chuckle every now and then. Hahaha.
Hah! Thank you for watching!
Just a terrific video; almost wanted to get out and help you...used to be a Charter driver for Coach USA!!
Thank you for the kind words!
Must be fun to play with all those toys!
Can't figure out what the driver was thinking , but Trent you're a great Heavy Tow operator !
It scares me how many drivers don’t even know what a differential lock is... “ this one?!”
Why, most guys would never need it. If it's even fitted.
EXACTLY!!
I hate to say it but that big blue trailer says it all as to why im not surprised.
Hold up your index finger, that can be the difference between getting stuck in soft sand and getting out of it successfully. Plaza Towing does a great job every time! Well done guys! :D
You made really easy buddy ,,, just shows that you are coo pro ...... Dan from Ireland ,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Cool video good thing there’s people like you out there for us trucker stuckers get it lol
Now THAT is a tow truck.
Awesome video Trent !!!!!
Can't believe how many Truck drivers don't know how to lock their drive axles
At 2:15 loaded with paper
towels and TOILET PAPER!!
We sure could use that load now all over the country on 3/31/2020 🗽🇺🇸 Covid-19.
Great job thank you for sharing 👍🍺😎🇺🇸
Ah yes, appreciate the efforts to help the truckers keep the blood of the nation flowing and supply things in the midst of crisis

All that hard pack and he manages to find the one soft spot

That is a great tow truck driver ps also give him a raise
Reminds me of my DaD. I dont know how or why i came across this video. He was a trucker too. He would of enjoyed watching this video
Nice job! Impressive camera work. Kudos to the operator for even fixing the mudflap bracket-shows professionalism. Not too impressed with the driver. I would've THANKED the tow truck operator with a little more emotion. Stay safe all !
Wonder how much something like this will cost, who pays for the wrecker’s work. Interesting work. Nice video.
First it was 18speed, then flatbed, now that badass towtrk is what I want.
not only is he a great tow truck operator hes a body man to lol keep it up guys
love the old school rotator so 90s !
I like that ProStar so much. Beautiful truck!
That’s was really interesting thanks for posting.
Good job.
It is kind of refreshing watching Plaza handle a job with the same precision and success as Pratt - and without having to ask for the Lord's help or asking for prayers... 😏
The rescued truck driver is ungrateful. How horrible of him not to even say thank you.
That look easy, good job man

Can only assume that the two "dislikes" already are from viewers who have their own 1M subscriber channel and could have done it better! lol
Nice rig 👍
I broke down in Nevada in the middle of the desert I helped hook up the unit to the wreaker then drove the wteaker and the full tractor and trailer to the shop. The guy offered me a job lol too bad im Canadian

Great job Trent, Ron Pratt had a very similar job posted same day.
Awesome.
You sound like a good guy. I once worked for a scumbag down in South Fla., just above the keys. Didn't know how to treat the drivers and was a snake to the customers. Typically bad name towing company.
This driver didn't seem to want any interaction with the tow truck driver. If he did interact with him he might have learned something.
Nice job
I live in the area.
Dont ever take a short cut or side road.
The entire area is soft sand if its not paved.
Ok I got to say them cones are cute. G.O.A.L
Good job!
Another great video .
You never disappoint me when I watch your videos! Love your Rig
