Here's the tribute video to the legendary MHOW - Omkareshwar meter gauge train which was India's one the most important meter gauge rail route,
This route was a part of Jaipur - Hyderabad meter gauge rail route which was slowly converted to broad gauge and only this section was left which was also closed for gauge conversion on 31st January,
Without a doubt this was one of the most amazing meter gauge route in Indian railways history,
Presenting to you my perspectives from the last journey on this iconic meter gauge train,

We just can say it's one heck of a video and it really made me cry
I have travelled on this route from 1979 to 2004 in express and passenger trains. Few remembered are Ajmer-Kacheguda passenger train and Meenakshi express. I still remember their numbers 581/582, 69/70 up/down.

This is really touching & an emotional video supported by excellent Hindi commentary which has conveyed the anguish of losing one more MG line! I had travelled in my childhood in MG from Aurangabad to Secunderabad & Ajanta Express was a bombshell those days😃Even Venkatadri Express to Tirupati. 11/05/22 I still remember today was the date when I had boarded my first ever MG train. Just an year but couple of changes😮💨

In 1974, I travelled from Jaora to Kachiguda (Hyderabad) and from Kachiguda to Bangalore.
I think Ajmer to Bangalore was
longest Metre Gauge Route in India.
NE Rly & NF Rly ka MG line ( Kasganj to Dibrugarh town ) sabse longest mg route tha. AT mail bahat renowned train tha route ka.

Hamare shehar Kesrisinghpur Jo Sadulpur Ganganagar Suratgarh rail root par hai,kabhi jahan bhi meter gaze chla karti thi Jo 2010 mein broadgaze mein badal gayi.Bacchapan ki yaaden judi hain us metergaze se.❤❤

महू खंडवा अकोला रूट में कालाकुंड और धुलघाट में ब्रॉडगेज नही आएगा । धूलघाट हमेशा के लिए रेल विहीन हो चुका है। कालाकुंड , भगवान से प्रार्थना करिए की हेरिटेज ट्रेन चालू हो पातालपानी से कालाकुंड।

I, felt myself proud, that I travelled in this route in ,1988, when I visited Omkareshwar anong with my motherless child son. This invariably, is one of the most memorable event to me !

I am watching this video I feel so heart broken I love meter guage train i have childhood memories with this train i am feeling so sad but now railway runs patalpani kalakund heritage train but I can't feel that emotion when this train is for local passengers and runs for passengers not for touristors😔😔😔😔😔

TALKING ABOUT DIVERTED PARTS OF THIS ROUTE FOR GAUGE CONVERSION
Patalpani Mukhtiara Balwada
Expect Kalakund ,rest of the station will get Broadgauge connectivity whereas Kalakund will continue it's services for heritage train in Monsoon
Tukiakhed Adgaon Bujurg
Expect Himerkhed,Wan Road,Dhulghat,Dabka rest of the stations will get Broadgauge connectivity but Himerkhed,Wan Road, Dhulghat, Dabka is permanently closed,no Broadgauge connectivity will come in these stations in future.
And talking about the project, 21 tunnels will be constructed between Patalpani and Mukhtiara Balwada and Tukiakhed Adgaon Bujurg will cross through Melghat tiger reserve buffer zone.

Pata nahi indian railway kyu meter gauge train ko hata rahe hain jabki yeh tourist ko badava de saktein hain jitna tourist is train mein Safar karenge utna he income hoga humare indian railway mein har types ki train honi cahiye chahiye woh narrow, meter, standard and broad gauge he kyu na ho inhe train se he to income hoti hai aur wese bhi indian railway mein varient of locomotives varities of coaches and different colours coaches like lhb or icf jesa hota hain
