NOTICE FOR 60FPS! If you're looking for the Streamcam as an option for 1080p 60fps video, note that your USB-C port/controller must support the higher bandwidth. In my case, the PCI-E USB extension card with USB-C ports were not sufficient for more than 1080p30, but the USB-C slot on my RTX 2080S graphics card worked fine. I saw many people talk about this issue on reddit so it seems common. After that issue was resolved, I am very happy with my upgrade from c920.
Thank you for your comment. You're absolutely right :) Do be careful if plugging these into any extension cards/USB splitters as there's a good chance it will drop the frame rate. Always best to have it plugged into the USB C port directly on your motherboard.
@Andyhhhdx You are very welcome! I love useful tech videos! To me, the question is why hasn't Logitech been able to build better webcams v than the C922 (and to a lesser degree) the C920? The other interesting thing is that Logitech pretty much has the budget webcam market on lock.
Completely agree. There doesn't seem to be any impovements at all. I thought the streamcam was something a little different and did a decent job but when you've got other brands like insta360 making awesome webcams then it seems that Logitech are struggling. It would be better if they didn't release another webcam unless there is a huge upgrade but there hasn't been from what I can see from their most recent releases.
@@SWIDEYIt should do the job fine for you :) Yes the Elgato webcams are good. Have you seen the Insta360 Link or the OBSBOT Tiny 2? They're very good webcams but they're pricey.
Hello there :) I always recommend FiFine microphones. I've used a number of them and they've all been great. You can check them out here - fifinemic.com?aff=16 If you use the code "FifineMic10" on their website then you can save 10%. You can check out the FiFine microphone's we've done on the channel and there's links in the description of the video to send you to Amazon to check the prices there. Hope this helps.
Hello buddy, I hope you're well :) I would go for the Streamcam. Just be careful with the USB C connector on the Streamcam as I've seen a number of them get snapped if it gets knocked whilst it's plugged into the USB C port on your computer. I always recommend your own microphone rather than the inbuilt ones on a webcam. If you're looking for a good budget microphone then it's worth checking out the Fifine microphones. I've got a few reviews on the channel and I also do Amazon Live streams where I show them in real time. You can check the streams out at www.amazon.com/live/andyhhhdx I hope this helps.
I have the Logitech c922 but I might switch to the Logitech stream can because it seems like it has better quality and u can control what it doesn't do auto do
I think the c922 is better value for money, but it doesn’t make sense? Why is a product that launched in 2020 far less superior than a model released in 2016? This is just lazy on Logitech’s part.
Yeah, the webcam game hasn't really improved too much over the years. It's only been quite recently that we've had some better webcams like the Elgato Facecam and Anker C300 etc. The Logitech Streamcam is a good webcam but i've seen a lot of people have issues with the USB C port getting damaged when they've been plugging it in and out of their computers. Hopefully they will bring out another webcam soon with more improvements.
@@Andyhhhdx I don't expect anything ground breaking from Logitech unless their management and engineers change. Turns out, their camera software that lets you fiddle with settings isn't compatible on Apple's M1 Mac's. That OS has been out for 2 years now and the industry has caught on with it but Logitech still hasn't figured this one out so says a lot about the innovation at the company.
@@jewslikefunk That's shocking that it's not compatible with the M1 Macs. I don't use a Mac so i wasn't aware of it. They definitely need to sort that out

The logitech c922 is still holding its own. To me, the C922 is the winner.
Hello Mike :) Thanks for checking the video out.
It's crazy that the C922 can still do an half decent job considering the age of it.
