- The Boxer is a battlefield chameleon, perfectly able to adapt to its environment. The Boxer is an armored fighting vehicle used for a variety of tasks but its main purpose is for the transportation of personnel. It offers excellent protection and adaptability due to its secure but versatile modular setup. And now there’s a version with tracks. Germany, UK and France started the boxer as a cooperation project. UK didn't stop to bitched arround that they want a vehicle with the driver seat on the right side for left traffic or other wise they would leave the project. Then the brits got their right seated vehicle and left the project. At this point the design was so advanced that it didn't made any sens to change the seat. And this is the story why germany and France build a tank for the left side of the road and why nobody likes the UK... ^^
Given the german-usa relationship and Germany military policies it's already mind blowing that the french trusted the germans to begin with. Can't ask for too much in a single shot 🤣

As with every modern military vehicle, you can order it if you want it.
The Boxer track version needs the Israeli designed Trophy self defence system because its armoured protection is under question. But all other Boxer variants need this Trophy self protection system as well.

All this stuff about protecting from IEDs with all of America's technology why can't the invent something in the front of the vehicle that detects these mines just like they have mine sweepers but you couldn't find you couldn't fly a drone over a road with a downward seeking radar a ground-penetrating radar before they travel that road

What's the purpose of the silly thing around the barrel just to make it look more high-tech are you trying to waste of money
In Afganistan where some Problems i think with overheating barrels from the first batch of boxer so the new version changed some litle things including those barrel cover
The Russian VPK-7829 Bumerang IFV is way better than the German Boxer IFV or the American Amphibious Combat Vehicle

That vehicle is only in very limited production. They don't have funds for it and Boxer is a mature combat proven system

@@ethanmac639I am pretty sure the boxer is not design to beat the bumerang, neither will this vehicle meet each other at the battle and the boxer is superior to Russian bumerang as always.
This IFV also fail like the APC Puma.
IFV well armoured are better than tanks they can take and hold positions with infantry and and troops can deal with armour if needed of course in front line they need the APS to deal with AT threats 😊😊

@pandibbarman No offence but the state of uk with migrants is more important than ifv and apcs its all done by design and uk forces is being destroyed and the army at 70 000 is not sufficient to defend it against China or Russia.
