Ben is a national treasure, 2 ways you know he is next level #1 Santa couldn't drink beer and keep up #2 Santa did not interrupt him just listened. I saw 2 hours and debated watching, but wow 🤯 so glad I did
I grew up in Georgetown back in the 80's and saw this jeep on main street before the start of Jeeper Jamboree every year. I remember one year he hauled it up to Georgetown on a lowboy with 2 other flat fenders that were very similar. I got so many Ideas for building jeeps from this guy. This guy is amazing. I miss those days. Great video!!!
Great history and great knowledge we can all learn from Ben, never stop learning never stop building. So proud to call this guy my friend and have him on the team for decades. If you really want the E ticket ride in that Jeep have him take you Super Bowl at Dumont Dunes in the dark. You don't know where it is but he does. As soon as the lights tip over the top of the dune he shuts them off, mats the gas and doesn't lift until you feel the fighter pilot G force at the bottom. You ass is one with the seat cushion, your heart left chat and you cheeks the next morning from smiling.
That was a whole lot going on there! He must be way smarter than 99% of the ppl out there to figure all that stuff out then actually build the stuff he has made.
I generally know when I am over my head. We have so many pro's in the offroad community that they can be searched out and asked for help. Through the team and Jason's interest, we have initiated a few ideas that really didn't pan out for us... but found their way into other aspects of racing. KOH breaks stuff. Short track not so much. Early on we threw the caution flag on portals and more feedback into the arms and steering. Beefing parts helped but it will probably be the hydraulic guys who minimize the problem. In final testings. That takes the heat out of mechanical compromises. Lots of pro's out there that don't know you problems but have guidance or answers. An awesome community. Why we are here and not NASCAR or Drag Racing for example. Cheers
True. The project has grown dramatically. And the journey HAS been bitchen. Luckily a buddy saw the same dilemma 10 years ago and stumbled me into a capable LJ to tide me over on the trails. (The most expensive single part in my build......LOL)
Thanks for sharing this , awesome next level up and very inspiring gentleman. Wish i had him near me to get his help and teach me a tiny bit bit of his knowledge and experience. Merry Christmas to everyone. Remember everyone Jesus Christ is the answer 🙏✝️ let him be part of your life.

Such an epic old man! 🤘 Sweet video!
Mind is definitely blown putting this evolution together on Xmas Eve Thanks Merry Xmas!!!
SO AWESOME you finally did Ben Bower’s flatty. I already know…cause I know Ben…but I’m guessing you’re going to show in engine that’s in his house.
I love my WFO disc brake brackets! Now it needs a 14bolt front WFO special. Get some
I just wonder what he could do with a big budget and some professional engineering help I imagine it would be amazing!!

Dude is wild my brain couldn’t handle the shit going on in his head
He’ll never finish it that’s too bad but sometimes the journey is more fun than the destination.
