This may seem random but I grew up in the church and thought that was the whole religion just going to church every Sunday and eventually stopped going and started to do my own thing. I wanted to find the purpose of life because I knew everything we worked for would pass away. Later on I had a tug on my heart to open up the Bible and saw the Jesus people talked about was completely different from what was in the Bible. I started to draw closer to the higher power and had a supernatural encounter with him and I felt his love and peace and was indescribable and overwhelming almost but was out of this world and everything looked brand new like it was the first time seeing it when I looked outside. His name is Jesus and I’m here to tell you it’s about a relationship not religion and he is real and did die on the cross for you willingly and thinks you as the only person and was thinking of you while dying. All we chase in this life is temporary think about your eternal life.

I grew up in a strong Christian household going to church occasionally and unfortunately at the age of 10 I made the sad decision to leave Christianity. I was going through a lot and like you wanted to do my “own thing”. After many experiences I turned back to the faith at 16 and had a lot of things revealed to me. I’m 20 now and everyday I thank the lord for opening my eyes and helping me return to the TRUTH which is only found through Jesus Christ 🙏🏽
Same man, it's a beautiful undescribable feeling when you find Jesus, I was in a shitty place a few months back feeling this huge empty void inside my heart, until I went to the vatican and i felt this unreal surge of joy, I was in tears.. i truly cannot put it to words but I have come to realize that that emptiness i felt in the heart could only be filled by God. I felt his love for the first time.. may God bless yall

When you experience years of an ongoing journey, being both meaningful and life changing, you feel like you came a long way of learning from your mistakes and becoming a stronger person, becoming so much more than what you were 10 years ago, only to wake up from a dream that only lasted for a night and you realize you're right back where you started 10 years ago.
