POV: as you hear the thunder/rumble in this song, it is the sound of the last space ship leaving Earth as the planet is about to end. One human must stay on Earth to save all others, and that human is you. All those you ever loved in your life are on the last spaceship you hear rumbling in the far distance leaving the Earth’s atmosphere. You realize they successfully made it out, and you are left to see the planet once home to 8 billion unique human lives crumble to its end. As you sit down on top of a mountain, stranded, with the last of your water finished, you look at the sunset. The glowing, orange orb slowly receding into the horizon. You put your backpack to the side and make yourself comfortable on the most cushiony-looking rock. The slow rumbling comes from nowhere, as clouds form. Dark...gray...voluptuous clouds. And rain. Rain. Rain. Starts pouring on you. Rejuvenating and giving life not only to you but to the small plants and animals around you. You look up to the sky and close your eyes, heavy drops falling onto your face, filling every crevice, every pore, every nook of your body with clean, fresh water. You put your back weight onto the rock and stay, life...is purely refreshing.
the problem is we often attribute our sad feelings and the abundant melancholy to simply not having a significant someone. i finally found a girlfriend after searching throughout my whole elementary and high school. thing is, love isnt overhyped. love is beautyful but the problems are these bad feelings that still remain even after ive experienced it and while im experiencing it. they are simply unexplainable as they cant be attributed to religious, school or any other concrete examples in my case. at this point in my life i think its just the slow release of painful memories from the past which i surpressed as a survival mechanism. at this point the release valve can finally be opened but it definitely isnt an easy thing to do. bless whoever reads this, through emotions we know each other than some in real life

the problem is we often attribute our sad feelings and the abundant melancholy to simply not having a significant someone. i finally found a girlfriend after searching throughout my whole elementary and high school. thing is, love isnt overhyped. love is beautyful but the problems are these bad feelings that still remain even after ive experienced it and while im experiencing it. they are simply unexplainable as they cant be attributed to religious, school or any other concrete examples in my case. at this point in my life i think its just the slow release of painful memories from the past which i surpressed as a survival mechanism. at this point the release valve can finally be opened but it definitely isnt an easy thing to do.
