- On our first day in Madeira, we wanted to find all the must see and eat things in Madeira and we were not disappointed with what we found! Our first stop was to the Ninho da Monta scenic look out, the second highest peak on the island. We then stop for lunch to try poncha, picado and nikita at a small restaurant at the bottom of a canyon. After lunch, we drove to the black sand beach in Seixal. Our day ends with a scenic drive back to Funchal. What an incredible island!

Great video and we decided to visit Portugal again, but this time we will add Sao Miguel island and Madeira. Ha Ha, you mentioned you are not beach people , same here. You are our children's age, love to travel, outdoors and National Parks, which lead us to follow your journey. Amber has beautiful facial features and this hair style showcases them. Stay safe.

Haha ya. We will go see the beach but not hangout. With two short cuts it's fun to go to a barber shop together. (Video on that to come) Such an amazing island!

We have not heard of 'Stay Classy' but I dont blame them for staying on the island! We loved everything we saw in Portugal and would also buy a place to stay there given the opportunity. Someday maybe!

5:05 - Oh boy, someone "forgot" to tell you that the Poncha's main ingredient is sugar cane spirits, which has between 38% and 48% alcohol! xD
7:30 - And "they" didn't tell that you don't eat lupins with the skin either! :D I mean, you can but no one in Portugal eats them that way. : )
13:22 - Ah, being above the clouds and not in a plane... how cool is that? It's one of the experiences from my time in Madeira that I'll never forget. : )
You peel the beans!? I think we were following the lead of the table next to us but maybe they were tourists and didn't know also. Either way, Amber still talks about those garlicky beans. Loved them! The Poncha was an unexpected punch to the mouth but still an awesome drink. Thanks for watching!

in hawaii, the world-renowned small guitar. It is a version of the cavaquinho, taken by Madeirans who went to cut the sugar cane. Where!?

If we didn't have to continue filming I think we would have stayed at that restaurant just a little longer and had another Nikita! Two days in Madeira? Are you nuts? What's a STICK SHIFT? You mean a Gear Stick by any chance?
Haha I wish we stayed longer. I think we stayed a total of 5 nights but filmed 2 days. We often call a manual transmission a stick shift in the US. Are we the only ones with that phrase? Never heard it be called a gear stick. Thanks for watching!

am all for positive vibes but I gotta keep it real. your new haircut objectively and subjectively isn’t better. makes you look like a man. or worse like you want to desperately save on salon expense 😅 on a positive note, it will get better with each day. thank you.
Subjectively, can short hair not be feminine or long hair masculine? Objectively, short hair is easier to manage day to day. A quality barber shop in a foreign place is much easier to find, cheaper and a lot more fun. Is making changes to the way we travel to be more affordable a terrible thing? After all, traveling on a budget is what our entire channel is all about.

That explains why you got a manly haircut which made you look like a man. No offense to the barber or to you. I just wanted to express my opinion that you looked beautiful w longer hair. Nothing wrong too with looking feminine rather than masculine. Neither am I generalizing that all girls with short hair look bad.
To be sure Im a loyal subscriber and appreciate your evident frugality. I wouldn't describe your decision as "terrible" but more of just unnecessary. Of course I wouldn't know the trouble your hair gives you. But you do need to sell your channel and in this world whether we like it or not, looking great is part of that. Enjoy your travels.
She actually went to a salon, which is not the place to get a short hair cut. Barbers do a much better shorter cut regardless of gender and it is a lot of fun going into a barbers since they have almost never cut a womens' hair before and they are a little unsure of how to go about it 😂.
We hope people follow us for the information we give and maybe a laugh. Although we are "on camera", we really don't have the time, energy or resources to worry about what we look like more than the average person. It is understandable why popular channels put girls in bikinis in every other thumbnail, it definitely works, but we never wanted to attract that type of audience. Nonetheless, thank you for subscribing and following along. 😃
