About 7 degrees Celsius better than the Founder's Edition - see here - www.thefpsreview.com/2024/06/10/msi-geforce-rtx-4080-super-16g-expert-video-card-review/7/#ftoc-heading-27
@@jonas000111 Yes, it is a different design than the FE ultimately, the cooler is more contained and has less fin surface area, the FE has a larger fin block since the entire shroud is basically a bit fin'd heatsink. Our review does state this, and if you check out the text under the GPU Temperature graphs here you will see that we explained the warmer temperatures as well - www.thefpsreview.com/2024/06/10/msi-geforce-rtx-4080-super-16g-expert-video-card-review/7/#ftoc-heading-27 it is stated in the review as "warmer" than the FE.
Thinking of selling my 4090 fe(too powerful its crazy, I have never maxed it out once) and purchase this one, it's one of the cheapest models and it fits my case worth it? or should I go for another 4080s?
73c and 84c is crazy I have the 4080 super gaming x slim and the highest I saw was 67c in metro exodus with 55% fan speed. Everything else is mid to high 50's with a few low 60's
Different designs, and fan profiles. We explained that in our GPU Temp page - www.thefpsreview.com/2024/06/10/msi-geforce-rtx-4080-super-16g-expert-video-card-review/7/#ftoc-heading-27
I have this same MSi GPU. At near 100% utilization, with both fans (as intake) around 55% speed, it does not exceed 70c. It comes down to your case setup. If you have this card sitting mid-ATX heat soaking without proper ventilation, no doubt it's going to show high temp numbers, but with a proper setup, this thing runs cool. Could easily turn up the fan speed, but at around 55%, it's quiet. At higher fan speed, the fan behind the grill is louder than the other fan, but it's definitely quieter than most.
I don't know what the previous comments are about saying this car is hot this card runs extremely cool built really well better design than other models and build stronger than other as well
It runs relatively hot and its a poor overclocker. HARD PASS for me. It just looks pretty and a little overpriced. If you want to just buy a nice looking card without all the RGB gamer garbage and don't mind paying an extra 10-15% for it then have at it.
Wow , I absolutely love it , it’s gorgeous especially in that color, I hope they’ll use this design for the upcoming 50 series
they come with support for card! is where in your video?
Its like founder edition, how is the temperature on heavy use.

@@jonas000111Seriously. This dude is clueless. And his explanation about how the fans and the heatsink works is completely wrong -- in several ways.

go for this one.
Can help me about my question? Can fit in pc case phantek evolve shift? Thanks
Can someone please tell me, is it a reference PCB design? Can I go for a waterblock which is compatible with the founders edition?
Thanks.
grill looks like the old fermi cards
heating problems and all

We need more cards like this. Tired of these humongous cards
Gorgeous!
rip SFF build having this.
Well sure, but it isn't built for that, but might still work in some bigger cases.

It surely is a card for aesthetics.
I got this card and it doesn’t go past 50 C
Same I have the same card and it runs games really good and never runs too hot
The price is around $100 more than the average 4070 ti super in Canada. What do you recommend
