I like to think the bed of red flowers in bayle's arena sprout from the heart of dead drake warriors, as implied in the description of the calorbloom (even though the flowers in his nest are fulgurblooms)
This boss was the hardest one in the DLC for me since I was doing a glass cannon sorcerer build (my vigor stayed at 9 the whole time), even with Igon and my Black Knight spirit ash helping. It was the only boss I had to come back to later. Which is weird considering Consort Radahn exists: I tried him a couple of times on my own and then first tried him when I summoned my spirit ash lol (with a Scadutree blessing of 11 and revered spirit ash blessing of 7). But yeah, Bayle was freaking tough. Great cover, man :3
